My point was the waste of money that was supposed to make life better for those mainly in southern Italy had billions taken by fraud. The EU knew this. But without putting something in place to try and stop the frauds happening they continued to pump more billions into Italy via the same way.

This isn't blaming the EU for it happening. This is saying that they should have been more careful with the money instead of keep giving more without doing anything about it when they knew for many years it was happening.

But of course you like to make out that I said what I didn't. It stops me from going on about how crooked the EU is. As confirmed by the EU commission. So it wouldn't surprise me if some from the EU are involved in some way.

Why should economies automatically become weaker? Romania is not exactly a major player. When people do deals in Romania they often talk in Euros. That was so in 2010, last time I was there, when my mate was extending his hotel. His costs were in Euros as the materials, such as shower units, were imported. The prostitutes were talking euros long before any official policy. I don’t think there will be any major changes. It will save costs for business though as exchange rates and forward buying and selling to cover import and export trades will fall away.

I don’t see why the current economy should be a criterium as it will probably be different in 2024.

Funny, Grendel says it is all Brexit bluster. An IT consultant who is advising JLR and Aldi UK ( both are dependent on just in time supply flows ) told me only on Friday that JLR are worried about Brexit disrupting supply chains and that they would be screwed. Basically what Speth is saying. According to Grendel JLR is more than just supply chains. So, obviously you and Grendel are right, and Speth and the consultants are wrong. Now... back to the benefits we can expect from Brexit.. what are they?

? You mean for EU citizens, with passports, who came as tourists or looking for work, but became a cost to the state, as opposed to refugees from non EU countries and without papers? What?!!! I said the opposite about Ford. The Transit project was loaned 80 million in 2012. the money will be paid back in 2022. Nothing to do with stealing jobs and nothing to do with Brexit. Just a Faragism thrown in to wind people up.
