Walk away, focus their minds, the EU haven't had to concede anything yet ! Time to tell them that they actually have to negotiate or there is no deal and their fragile economy will start to creak.
Evidently not thus farI thought that the UK was supposed to have had the upper-hand in these negotiations?
Evidently not thus far
Let's leave it in the hands of 18 year old kids then, most who have never even left the classroom yet, have no life experience, believe any old scare story and can be bribed by any old promises. Not had time to check it yet but a member of the question time audience claimed yesterday that if you look at the demographics of how old and young voted and then consider that how many voters from the older demographic have died and how many younger voters have come of voting age since the referendum that on its own is enough to shift the vote to remain without a shift in change of opinion by anyone who voted in the last referendum. Certainly no one from the panel dismissed that claim anyway.
As Ricky Gervais said, did we really need to have a referendum to find out that the old hate the young.
Why don't you just say what was wrong with my post instead of saying that it was having a go at remainers? Because when I pointed out what I had said and what your reply was you tried to say I was putting words in your mouth. But you are yet to explain why.If you’re unable to understand what is written then I’d be quite concerned I were you.
Now you are really desperate. Deny the obvious. Stop people changing their mind. Then talk about Nazis telling people how to vote.
It is you who is telling people that they have voted for this crap and that you will not tolerate them having a second vote in case they have changed their mind, which you wouldn’t want.
Who is the Nazi here?

Can they have a third vote when they change their mind again?
No, the Grand National Is Not CruelTell me again how horses love horse racing?
Whichever way a second one went, there probably wouldn’t be a third for a generation.
Surely people cannot look at the state of government right now and think we should carry on business as usual?
I’m well aware that the voter fatigue is a real thing, but this is a crisis. I’m not even being hyperbolic just to make a point.
We used to have politicians Who had experience in life. Now they seem to leave university and not be good enough for many things. So they become a politician. They don't listen to their voters. They certainly don't seem to research the latest topics. And most of them then have the balls to treat us like idiots.Look at how our politicians have performed on this issue. Look at Liam Fox's absurd comments on the EU-japan free trade deal he made either today or yesterday.
I wonder if some of them have got minds to focus!
Reading this thread I thought they had.I think we should let 10 year olds vote as well
The EU is in crisis. It is run by those who have no interest in what is best for the citizens.Whichever way a second one went, there probably wouldn’t be a third for a generation.

Change is needed in the EU. Change is needed in the UK. And nothing will get better until it happens.
I didn't say they were capable of getting a so-called 'deal', I said they were perfectly capable of delivering Brexit. Stop twisting my words. We have not had a public vote on what sort of Brexit the government should pass, or rather aim for. There are several suggestions. So how do you know what sort of deal the government is capable of getting and whether the public would back it?

Do you know how many do? Do you know how many research what they are doing/trying to change? You just say things. Do you actually know how many MPs have no interest in what is best for the citizens?
I guess while we're generalising, we could always talk about the paranoid old gits that are hunkered down, expecting armageddon and World War III because we've not got an empire anymore and we don't stick it to Johnny Foreigner...Let's leave it in the hands of 18 year old kids then, most who have never even left the classroom yet, have no life experience, believe any old scare story and can be bribed by any old promises.

Please stop twisting my words. Neither my post nor the quote I was replying to mentioned any so-called 'deal'.Please stop talking nonsense, you’re just wrong. Its mainly the DUP and ERG MPs (Brexiteer Tory backbenchers) which is stopping Theresa May’s Brexit deal.
Walk away, focus their minds, the EU haven't had to concede anything yet ! Time to tell them that they actually have to negotiate or there is no deal and their fragile economy will start to creak.
What do you mean exactly when you say the Government can deliver Brexit?
It can’t deliver a Brexit via Parliament ratifying the current deal.
Do you know how many do? Do you know how many research what they are doing/trying to change?
So are you saying that those pushing for Brexit know what they are doing and want what is best for their constituents?

You're glad they're stopping us leaving the EU?Thank goodness for the DUP and ERG in that case.
You're glad they're stopping us leaving the EU?
Well... it is.Mays deal is not 'leaving the EU'.
