The Hamer applause at the corner (4 Viewers)

COH needs to be loved, needs to be the centre of attention. He always played to the cameras as City Unseen always showed.
An immature prick who thought the premier league beckoned.
Hamer was wanted by the premier league.
That's the difference.

We're in that corner. Fucking stupid. Clap him at the end, but when they have a corner, an attacking dead ball? Stupid fuckers.

Get over it - people liked Hamer and decided to clap in Singers Corner. It was the majority. Liverpool fans have done it regularly in the past. What I thought was odd, was the way the atmosphere dropped like a stone when they scored their second. Sadly, I think some of this is down to when the drummer decides to take a (fag?/p*ss/chat) break. Fans who have been caught up in the atmosphere (as they were for a lot of the time) seemed to collectively take a 'hush break' , No ides why, but it did feel odd. Luckily the sending off helped kick start an atmosphere again.

The atmosphere has been poor for ages.

We were chasing a game against 10 men all second half and it never really got going.

Bit of a strange feeling heading back to Bournemouth, feel we deserved the 3 points.

I question the equaliser offside, also their fella who elbowed Milan, plus we had about 60 mins plus to win vs 10 men who other than 2 shots, were poor.

Ohare left on a free, gamer gave us £15m
So? It’s not COH’s fault he did his ACL with 18 months on his contract. By all accounts he’d all but signed for Burnley before that injury.

It’s just cringeworthy that we applauded Hamer that much at a corner. If he was being subbed off, that’s slightly different.

It’s done now, I thought Hamer looked class today and hopefully we can replace him. COH looked average to be honest and think he’d have been better off staying with us - personally, I believe Rudoni will be a better player for us.

I know some fans might have clapped just because it was the return of a likeable player who played very well for us and left for bigger things. But I was clapping Hamer to invest some magical power into the corner he was about to take. I’m very sad it didn’t work.

O'Hare was never loved to the same level Gus was/is. People loved Gus as much as any player we've ever had. O'Hare always had his critics, especially his lack of goals before last season.

Doesn't help that he missed the penalty at Wembley against United too.

I was surprised by the level of boos towards him though. There really wasn't any backing when he walked off. I thought it may eventually turn into clapping like with Maddison when he was initially booed.

I'm not bitter towards either of them , but those are the facts, and prob 90% follow that opinion. If O'Hare went for £15m, and hamer went on a free I imagine the cheers and boos would be flipped

From my angle, BTA looked well offside but I’ve not had the benefit of a replay to see if there was a stray fullback potentially playing him onside.

Today is a game we should’ve won. We started well, conceded two soft goals and of course we need comeback from that. Sheffield were a well drilled outfit defensively.

Don’t get the problem, you either did or you didnt, he ran over to take the corner and was tapping his heart, our fans just returned the compliment, if youve‘e got a problem with that then 😂

It’s just the fact you’re giving a standing ovation to a guy who’s standing over the ball trying to score against you. The sentiment is fine but we need to have some self respect lol

It wasn’t planned you know, it just happened, obviously the fans who did it thought it was the right thing to do The fans who didn’t thought it wasn’t No big deal

It’s pathetic - he wanted to leave the minute the play offs were lost - fair enough but this “he loves the club” is shite. He loves himself

Just tinpot

Hamer is probably my favourite player to ever play for the club and I didn’t even begrudge the way he left that much but I’m never going to give an opposition player a standing ovation while the game is ongoing.

Initially I thought it was clapping for some kind of tribute, then looked to the corner and realised. Surreal to see that considering just seconds later he could have assisted a goal against us.

COH getting booed did the trick on him though.

The only time I remember it worse was when people cheered after Andy Morrell scored against us. I nearly had about 4 fights that day!
