The Hoff is going to go on Keys and Gray show at end of the season to explain what is happening.

Although he does not own the club it will be a strange and nice experience to have someone in the Know talking to us. Would be interesting if SISU try it one day!

Apparently he cant do that till the end of the season. I assume he will be able to talk once SISU go bust and it is all out in the open!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know some of you are frustrated with KEYS. However he is basically saying the Hoff still wants the club despite league one stated. Yes it changes the terms of the deal. He is also saying SISU have no money and are effectively bust.

That is a big thing to state if you have it wrong you open yourself to libel

Also the Hoff is going to come on the show at the end of the season to discuss it all.

The Hoff will take over, sell our best players because they want to further their careers, buy some cheap players because we have no money and before too long unless he can pull millions out of his arse be hated by everybody. Just a hunch

I fully expect him to still be trying his level best to arrange a takeover regardless of what league we're in. I just worry how much what league we're in affects those talks.

That started 5 years ago

Wrong it was 10 years. Now we are relying on tweets from a ludicrous media pundit. Great. What next Jim davidson as chairman. It's pathetic,

'Deal is not off or Gary would've told me'

I presume he is correct in saying that otherwise he will look like a dick if he is not. I can only assume they have a good friendship and Keys feels he would be one of the first to know if it was completely down the pan. I don't see that as a completely ridiculous comment. Not that I have any reason to really defend Keys.

Alas we have gales and rain here too. Switching back to the topic-the most reliable way of knowing the deal's fooked is when SISU go shouting it from the rooftops as they did back in August. No news is good news for the time being and that'll suffice for me.

I don't doubt that, I just see it as a bit of a cringeworthy quote.

Until Gary shows the colour of his money he's just another Joe Dinsa. The longer we suffer/struggle the less we are worth. SISU seems to want a deal like they now have at Reading, where the Russian Billionaires will bankroll the club. Interesting they paid £25m for c50% for a club with a statdium, SISU will never get £25m (50%) for City.

Sounds like he is waiting for SISU to pull the plug. That is, picking up the pieces after admin, a firesale, and -10.

Keys has long tweeted it should have been done in Jan, we all of course know this was at the point of Dulieu going a bit mental and running the club while no doubt drunk on a bit of power and ultimately making crass / unwise comments about the investors while no doubt trying to paint himself as some sort knight in shining armour to Linnel and CWR Listeners.

So I do wonder if there was more to Sisu getting rid of Dulieu, I am of the opinion that they wanted out at that point (still do want out) and Dulieu messed it up for them as much as messing it up for us the fans and prospective new owners.

Hoff hasnt done anything yet and he might never achieve his aim. I would have thought with all the talk going round of the club hitting the buffers any investor would wait and see because the likelihood is that it will cost a lot less to acquire (thats settle creditors not buy btw). Thing is if admin happens there is no guarantee the best bid will come from GH or that any bid will come at all.

Personally if it is more of the same set up that has got us to here over last 10 or 20 years then I wont be coming out shouting my support of the deal GH or anyone else's. We seem to be in a cycle of finances that end up the same way and unless that is properly addressed (including some better supporter involvement) then we will be back here again in 5 years time. Anyone coming in needs to really get to grips with things not just throw money at it and hope. They will have to make tough decisions and a upset a lot of fans to get it right

Guess we wait and see ........... but I am tired of words and more words, I want to see some action and there is precious little real evidence of that

I cant see the Hoff doing anything, even if he does he then has to negotiate (eventually) for the sale of the Ricoh.

Without knowing if there are any reasons why this is not possible.

Why does not the ACL / Higgs trust purchase the club for a nominal fee/ They are already a creditor of the club. The club as a concern only makes sense without the huge liabilities that are constantly talked about.

If ACL then picked up the club you have a very neat package for investment, a profitable stadium business plus a football club. This certainly could be a much more attractive investment proposition for any investors. This could net the council and ACL a real return on the investments that have already been made. the Council bought out and the Higgs trust then as a minor shareholder?

Just a thought

Except ACL wouldn't know the first thing about running a football club and would have to pick up the associated costs.
