I don't get why this is an issue. Wherever you live, if you're a sky blue, you're a sky blue. Whether you go week in week out, whether like me you go as and when you can around work, or like some, only go the odd game and the 'bigger' games, everyone has their own agenda, and we would all like to go to the arch (IF we can do it)

What we've got to remember is Crewe are no mugs - they beat us earlier this season, and are on a good run themselves - it's important for whoever can make it to the Ricoh next tuesday gets behind the lads, and doesn't get on their backs when they overhit a pass after 6 minutes. We've got a team who want to put a shift in, and a manager who demands it, so if things don't go smoothly early doors, it won't be for want of trying.

And should we make it, should we get our biggest day out since '87 (I was -30months old at this point!) whether you lived next door to Highfield Road or you live in John O Groates - I would hope that every member of the Sky Blue Army who can physically make it, will get a ticket and be there!

Southampton have the JPT proudly on display at St Mary's with the slogan 'It all started with the JPT' - wouldn't mind following that

I agree with all the above, the thread was created because a blokes disgusted with us playing on a Tuesday night as he lives in Cornwall. He also finished with cov is a shit hole anyway. It's a piss take thread, I live in cov.

Just seen the thread you are on about - the game should be re-arranged for his convenience, or even moved to his back garden so he can make it.

not everyone can make every game, harsh reality. And if he thinks cov is a shit hole, I live in Nuneaton!

I live in Norfolk, still have a season ticket and go as much as I can, I work Monday to Friday so midweek games are difficult, but not impossible, that's what I use my holiday days for ;)

I don't see it as you have to go week in week out to be a "real" fan, a lot of people have circumstances that they cannot work around, for instance it might be easier for me to get to a game living in Norfolk than some one living in Cov that has to work weekends or has a young kid, I don't by into the old "your not from Cov, you don't go every week so your not a "real" fan.

End of the day were all Sky Blue and that's all that matters

I've never lived in Cov. I'm not even from Cov

My Dad is from Cov though and growing up in Birmingham, I always felt like Cov and Brum were divorced parents and every fortnight I went and spent time in Cov, have a good time (or not if we lost) and come home again listening to 5 live in the car .

But anyway, for many years I had season tickets but now I live on the south coast, I get to the occasional away game and that's it. I wish I was still somewhere in the midlands, as I'd happily make the trip every game to watch us play.

Living in Fuerteventura. + loosing the sky sports (all channels inc. Sky sports news) in the last week.

Live in Gran Canaria, same thing has happened here. Get a Sky HD Box and all the channels work. Also heard but not confirmed that we could be getting the channels back early Feb. By the way, Sky Sports 2 still works out here but you have to find the correct frequency and input it in the add channels bit. Sky Sports News will not return from what i hear though.

Live in London and try and make it whenever I can, which admittedly hasn't been many at all this season. Agree with most of the other comments though, it doesn't matter where you live, we're all sky blue through and through!

Live up in Scunthorpe here.. Been a season ticket holder since we moved untill a two or so seasons ago when i started working shifts (i.e weekends). Couldn't jusify seeing one game out of every three.
Going to the Crewe game and normally listen via the player (well first half since i have to leave after that for work).

Like someone else, i'm not even from Cov, my dad is and i was born 9 months after a certain FA cup win, also named after the players.. So i could never support another team, but still like to support them when i can :).

They are gradually moving all UK channels onto a new satellite with a tighter beam on the UK. In Perpignan, I will need to upgrade my dish from 80 to 100.

Fair play to you all, if you follow your team you follow your team when ever and from wherever you can.
I know from the Trust membership we have members from all over the World and I believe we even have a "long distant" supporters group.

Seems you missed the whole point of my argument. I'm complaining that if you buy a ticket but can't attend they won't allow you to buy a Wembley ticket should we get there. That is unjustified !

BTW Cov is still a shithole FACT! :p

Coventry's not the nicest place in the UK, but there's far worse out there. Still though the city will always be special to me even though I'm from Nuneaton originally.

Live and work 120 miles away, proud season ticket holder and make 90% of away games. Also, quite skint!

I'm another one who wasn't born in Cov nor ever lived in Cov. Both sides of my family are from there though.

Is it true that if you don't go to Crewe you can't go to Wembley? Sounds odd, especially given the fact that there will be more tickets available for Wembley than for our home match.

You can still go, it's just that you'll be at the back of the queue as ST holders and people with JPT match stubs will get priority.

That's what I thought. Like the Spurs match earlier this season.

Match stubbs that have been scanned at the turnstiles may I add. They then go onto the system as used. Tickets that have not been used will not be valid.:claping hands:

Support from a distance

Used to be a season ticket holder and went to the '87 final. Unfortunatley, i now live and work in Toronto, Canada. Wish i was able to attend, but will try to get home for Wembley!.

Exactly, so if you can't go but have got a ticket then it's best to give it to someone else so it gets used. Preferably someone who can't/wouldn't go to wembley if we make it so can go at their expense!

To beat this my provider is working on a non Satellite version of our dream boxes, almost complete and will work with an internet connection. All UK channels plus, Spanish, German, French, Dutch, Norwegian also Al Jazeera etc all for 50€ a month ;)

HD Boxes do seem to be working though with 1.5m dish.

WRONG!! I have spoken to the club and that is not the case. Nice try at a wind up but you have been rumbled :jerkit:

But it shit you up thinking no potential wembley date for you.

Can't believe you rang the club !!

It really pisses me off that people buy tickets they have no intention of attending. Yep, it was a wind up but if this wind up gets 100 people to sit in the seat they have paid for then job done
