The interview... What would you ask? (1 Viewer)

Having read this morning about Timbo talking about the interview process getting started it did get me wondering what a football managers interview is like, what sort of questions are asked etc, whether it is like a normal interview that us normal folks have... Where do you see yourself in 3 years etc...

What questions would you want to ask the prospective candidates and what answers would you want?

I would definitlely want to know what he will do to get the most out of our players and what he would do to resolve our tendancy to capitulate as soon as a screw is turned...

What else would people want to know?

Oh and its Dennis Wise all the way for me.

I think SISU would be asking if the current squad can be promoted, if new players are required and if they would accept a match to match rolling contract.

I remember enjoying BTTF 2 quite a lot, but it may just be the irresistible attraction of hoverboards.

Not at all.

Lost in Translation is the most over-rated film going.

Of course Sofia Coppola a common feature for both that and GF3.

Totally agree. Godfather I and II are masterpieces, Lost in Translation is just dreary, paint-drying tosh made up to look like art.

Why do you want to come to the graveyard of managers ?

Question 2 - how long can you stand on just one leg? Your choice of leg.

(this can be used as a tie-breaker if you can't split successful applicants, which is how Alex Ferguson landed the Man Utd job)

Nonsense. LiT is a very well crafted movie. And the two leads are both likeable and very funny. And it's got a great shoegaze-y soundtrack too. And Scarlet Johansson.

I thought the OP's question a valid one.

Very difficult to answer and that's why there have been no answers!

First I would explain the clubs circumstances, then tell him why i short listed him, then ask him how he would then go about securing promotion this season.
