Like I mentioned on another thread, Moyes has been sounded out for the Wolves job. He wouldn’t even look twice at coming to us
I’d take O’Neil if he becomes free. He had Bournemouth playing well and Wolves to a point.

To be honest I’ve no idea who’d be best out of all of these. But Moyes surprises me in terms of posters on here wanting him - I think his teams are quite boring to watch.

RVN stats says he’d be very attacking (we won’t get him). I voted Carsley - good enough for the FA, looks to be innovative. But it’s a really tough decision!

O’Neil is just a motivator not a tactics man. Both Wolves and Bournemouth fans say he has no plan B

So less than 1 in 20 of us want Lampard as our next manager/coach.

If he gets the job we will soon see if it is us or King who is clueless.

Fair enough - do remember the clamour after his temp spell

Disagree he was the worst manager in our history however

Thorn was never a manager and cut out for the job but still think he got shat on from above more than most of our managers

Lost Westwood, Marlon Kingand Gunnarsson on frees and had Turner and Juke sold behind his back and was given pittance to replace them, any manager would have struggled

The whole carry on with Delieu putting himself on the bench was awful as well, I wouldn't have blamed him for walking after that and I suspect any manager who wasn't him probably would have done

He was an utter disaster for the club. If we’d have got Robins instead, who was reported as being the club’s actual target, i’m certain we’d have stayed up

Well Robins was managing Barnsley when Thorn was given the gig and I doubt the club would have shelled out compo for him at the time

Not saying he was a good manager but that team was fucking dire and with the benefit of hindsight it should be a shock to no one it was relegated

Robins resigned shortly after Thorn was appointed due to issues with the board. At the time we were interested in him.

I disagree, a decent manager would have kept it up; Thorn was a disaster for the club in both the short and medium term.

IIRC we wanted Robins back. He was our choice. That didn't go too badly.
I actually remember people not wanting Robins back cause he 'snaked' us to go to Hudds

If you trawl back through the comments on twitter when the club announced it, it makes for interesting reading
