Here's what the Liverpool u21s manager had to say today :

Looking forward to visiting coventry_City to watch @ryankent_10. Excellent club & manager to help Ryan progress over the next few months.

They apparently turned down Swindon as they wanted him to play in the championship, and Armstrong also had interest from the league above yet both are here.

Seems it's down to Mowbray and his style of football, judging by that tweet.

this is exactly what the blog about 46 years of not top 6 meant...this feeling right now where everything seems to be going in right direction and we are at top end of division

Yes exactly this. Look at steven Pressley, we got Dylan mcgeough and Rory Donnelly and Nathan eccleston.

Under mowbray we get Kent and Armstrong and Morris.

Proof is in the pudding.

It is so refreshing, TM seems to know what he wants, he is able to convince SISU as well as these Premiership clubs to get these players. So strange we seem so organised on our player recruitment.

I think it shows too how right he was about making ryton attractive and professional looking, I suspect that sort of thing is very important when loaning players from clubs that see them as important future prospects, much more important than paying a bigger percentage of their salary
