We were good last night.
Keenum didn't turn the ball over against a good lions defence-that cost us the reverse fixture.
Our defence is good but still has these lapses of giving away quick long drive TDs as the half approaches.

If you make it to the superb owl with Keenum though it would be pretty harsh to drop him.
Not sure Keenum will hold the job that if we get that far. A tough run-in and any slip ups Bridgewater will be back.

Vikings have 3 good QBs.
Bradford will get traded to move his contract.
Keenum will get a big contract elsewhere as he's a free agent. Just feel this is a career season for Keenum - not sure he'll have another one like it.
Vikings will keep Bridgewater on a restructured deal and take a back-up in the draft.

How are they going to make it to the Superbowl? The Vikings are NFC, the Skins are NFC. Only one team from the NFC makes it to the Superbowl.

I accept it isn't NFL, but I went to a University of Michigan football game yesterday. Great day all in all, but 112,027 attendance for a college game is fucking insane.

so gutting to lose in last sec to steelers.

hundley had his best game yet but once again mcarthy refused to go for a game winning drive and it cost him

his record in GB is very good but i would not mind if we parted ways this season, the guy is not brave at all

They also let Roethlisberger just march the ball up the field for the winning kick far too easily.

It's amazing how many games end up that way, mind. Defence keeping a lid on it all game and then last two minutes the opposition march the ball up the field with relative ease.

Think in part it can be due to a defence standing off a bit with little time to go and allowing the easy yards while the ball is down the other end of the end of the field, believing that when closer to the redzone they will be able to make a stop.

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. That was just awful from the Redskins last night.

Two turnovers in the first quarter and then another in the second quarter and it could have easily been another two, and that would have made five in total just in the first half. Lucky it wasn't, but we had another we gave away in the second half, making four in total for the night. Not going to win a game turning the ball over.

Yep, we had more key injuries on the offensive line that really hurt us, but our run defence was just dreadful and Alfred Morris just strolled through our back line. I really liked him when he was here, but he has done very little at the Cowboys.

Season over right there. Even if we won every game now 9-7 wouldn't be enough.

Be interesting to see if Jay Gruden is still here next season.

Bad, bad night.

I see Keenum and Bridgewater are both free agents at the end of the season.

For the Redskins fans out there, if Cousins goes at the end of the season would you be happy to take either of those two? The Vikings of course also still have Sam Bradford too. Just been talking about it on Sky Sports.

Keenum had become a bit of a joke in press circles, but though undrafted, he had all time leading pass stats at college. I only just found that out.

Have to confess I have always quite liked Sam Bradford too.

Be interesting to see if we can keep Kirk Cousins.

If you look at their career stats below you'd say Kirk is the better player but I certainly wouldn't be unhappy. Kirk seems to want a huge contract and maybe he's being offered it elsewhere but I don't think he's shown the ability to stand up when it matters like a really good quarter back would. Dallas should have been there for the taking on Thursday but he went missing. I'd be more than happy for a minor downgrade for a couple of years while we develop a draft pick. I see 49ers won today so it proves how a QB can make a massive difference to an otherwise poor team.

The front office must know what Cousins' plans are now so you'd hope either he's staying and we're looking at someone that can make plays or someone for the secondary or he's going and we've got a QB in sight. If necessary we could trade a couple of picks to move up and get the guy we want, seems to have worked for the Rams.

Completion %
Cousins: 66
Bradford: 62
Keenum: 60.7

QB Rating
Cousins: 94.9
Bradford: 85.1
Keenum: 83.7

TD-Int:
Cousins: 93-50
Bradford: 101-57
Keenum: 38-25

Okay, so, who are the best 10 quarterbacks in the NFL right now? Not ranked 1-10, just the 10 best.

Would say ....

Brees
Rodgers
Cousins
Wilson
Brady
Wendtz
Newton
Roethlisberger
Ryan
Rivers

That about right?

Stafford and Carr just outside.

I’d say you have a very clear top two of Brady and Rodgers.

Then the next tier would be
Wilson
Brees
Rivers
Big Ben
Wentz
Goff
Newton
Ryan

Cousins sits in the 3rd tier behind that lot.

always find it funny how nfl fans make caveats for a team having a good run of wins and then claim victory when they finnaly lose one

Knew the eagles would fail when coming up against a genuinely good team.
It was said that hadn't been tested much. Every team they had played bar two had worse than a 500 record.

Seattle swamped them last night.

Minnesota look a better all round team to me.

Vikings look great but I just don't think Keenum will do it when it gets to playoffs.

I think we're looking at Steelers or Pats again.

Just have a sneaky suspicion though that one game on the journey the Pats are not going to be able to give Brady the protection he needs and he will be knocked out of the game.

Gruden could follow post season.

I do really what him to be a success, cos he seems a nice guy. The record is rather poor though here.

If he gets another chance then it should be with a whole new strength and fitness team at the very least far too many injuries this year.
