Today's actually a day where I felt Gyokeres looked for the pass more often than lately. He's harder to deal with it you can't predict as easily he'll b try and spin the defender and try and dribble through the defence single handed.

No ones talking about his ability.

Read the thread it's about penalties. Hes missed 2 . Godden hasnt ever missed fir us and taken about 6/8 more pens.

Get with the picture so what rubbish you going on about?

It was bang out of order. End of
He's a striker who backs himself to score a pen, the horror! If the manager would prefer Godden to take them when he's on the pitch he should make it a specific instruction.

Just seen the handball from a Birmingham vlog. What an incredible decision from the referee. How he spots that I'll never know but clear handball in the current game.

Watched on TV today. Shouted penalty and my lad said it wasn't as the ref gave it. The replay showed it clearly. The ref today was the best I have seen for a long time. Got every big call correctly. Made a refreshing change to the normal trash we get.

What a load of b*llocks, Gyok hasn't scored in a couple of games so probably wanted to get that off his back. I want him peak confidence going into the last game(s). He works himself into the ground and has the most assists in the team, so the talk of him not being a good team mate, etc, is b*llocks.

The important thing is he scored. It's no big deal.

The fall out could have been huge. I remember the furore when it happened with McSheffrey.

Nominate a pen taker before the game and stick to it.

I agree it could have been, if he missed, luckily he didn't.

I think that this team is much closer knit than back then and something like this wouldn't cause a problem.

Vik was just annoyed about the chances he's had over the last 3 games, wanted to put it right.

At the end of the day, it all worked out for the best and what a brilliant day it was.

Vik took the pen .... and scored.

That's all that matters.

No ifs, no butt's, no if your auntie had balls etc etc.

The play off final might go to pens, and for once we have players who want to take them. ........ enjoy this time,

we've deserved it after league 2, sixfields, stans, wasps, sisu, points deductions, cancelled games etc etc.

Yep, we won, you should feel well chuffed for the rest of the week.

Don't let #clintvandamme (or any of the other fun sponge nay sayers) piss on your fire.

I think professional football teams should decide, pre match, who should take their penalty should they be awarded one.

You think the moon landings are fake.

I'll leave it there.
They did
Godden is the penalty taker
Yok grabbed the ball
He scored
Godden celebrated
We won

The instance that I can remember with McSheffrey was. I think in the 6-1 win over Derby when Dennis Wise made his debut. As far as I can remember, Stern John had already scored two when City were awarded a penalty. McSheffrey was the designated taker and insisted on taking the pen which John wanted as he was on a hat trick. McSheffrey took the pen and scored but John sulked and was obviously in a bad mood to not be given the pen to take.

For all the amazing things Vik has done for us, he plays entirely for himself. Disgraceful today over the penalty.
