I can understand if it's not making money they have cut it, still it will be spun as ccfcs faultClear enough to me, someone must have worked out that providing the facility makes a loss, so its been cut.
But doing that no doubt impairs goodwill. As OSB said, it may indicate a beak down of the operational relationship.
Or to the tune of Don McLean's American Pie, 'Bye, bye to the corporate pie.'Maybe the next protest... We all throw pies on the pitch ..and sing "pie blue army"
What about match day costs? We are only paying a paltry £4000 per match for the stadium, you get what you pay for ! That's covered by less than 185 adults paying the full £22 on the gate !
Not sure what they total...........probably no more than another 200 fans paying full price though !What about match day costs?
Because its drilling down too far. We rent a stadium, we already get treated like second class citizens in terms of the facilities on offer to us compared to Wasps. Maybe they should close all the toilets, after all they'll have to pay to get them cleaned but don't make any money out of them. Maybe turn all the lights out in the concourses as well.
Realistically how much does it cost to have a couple of minimum wage staff for a few hours to serve food that is still, as far as we know, going to be available elsewhere in the stadium?
Can't let that get in the way of a good rant though, OSB.Think you will find that toilets and lights are a contractual obligation due to health & safety so thats a lame comparison. I am sure CCFC can have a lot of things if they choose to pay for it. - got a feeling its an old but recurring problem. Its only drilling down too far because it affects CCFC, I would think that all events, matches etc are subject to the same analysis and decisions taken.
Sometimes you have to stand back and ask what would any rational business do
Wasps own the damn stadium of course they will favour themselves, who wouldnt.
Why should ACL / Wasps provide staff from their own pocket so that it keeps a few CCFC fans happy in hospitality ?
Its not like CCFC havent done things to reduce losses is it, not like they havent shut areas of the ground for instance. Which I think was quite sensible and correct. Its the same principle isnt it and affects the match experience?
It seems to be that some people on here are expecting other businesses to incur and bear losses basically because we are CCFC and always the victim.
There are more important things to address than the sale of a few pies in the posh seats surely?.
Surely they still have staff though to serve the beer and cold stuff? That's what makes it weird.
I know. I am always starving every match. They don't do veggie pies anyway Otis ?
Why, we never have before.Hopefully we will get clarification soon.

Could anyone tell me if this is good or not for a business?
Is this cliff edge drop going to happen every six months?
It's not a poor reflection on acl if CCFC keep going on about contracts and making legal threats, and acl have given them over and above and letting things go until now......If that's the reason then its a very poor reflection on ACL. Will be interesting to see if its the whole ground or just corporate. If its just in corporate that would suggest that rather than looking at the operation as a whole they are closing down any individual component that doesn't make money to screw every last penny out of CCFC with little regard for the matchday experience of our fans.
On the basis of what has happened with other things since the Wasps takeover everything that isn't in the contract down to the smallest detail seems to be viewed as an area to screw the club over for more money.
Another example of the club being screwed over. There's no operational reason for this, a deadline 24 or 48 hours before the match would suffice for that.
Is that what's happened then? It's not a poor reflection on acl if CCFC keep going on about contracts and making legal threats, and acl have given them over and above and letting things go until now......
Was that just rent or match day costs and rent combined? When Sisu stopped paying rent it was £10k per game to play at the Ricoh. No guessing that was the figure quoted. That was all costs included. So £120K per year is what they are paying justifies the lack of facilities.

SBT - Home of the Guesstimate.

It's what normally happens, acl be a bit lenient and accommodating, ccfc take the piss, they they say enough is enough.
Same as stadium rent issue (although ccfc left on their own accord)
Very lenient with the rent weren't they? It's what normally happens, acl be a bit lenient and accommodating, ccfc take the piss, they they say enough is enough.

it doesn't matter whose fault it is it still shows the disregard sisu have for the support.
Even if it is down to ACL why not make sure everyone knows about it and step in to provide food at their own cost?
They're talking about building bridges, well this was an opportunity.
They go on about revenue streams, well sisu have one massive revenue stream at their disposal, the 20,000 plus empty seats. They should be doing everything they can to fill them and that includes using PR opportunities like this to get some fans back on side.
It suggests to me, that in reality, they're not really bothered.

They aren't allowed to provide food themselves.
Covered the costs for what though? No, but they could have covered the costs, even just for one game, they could have done something.
People will see the headlines and assume it's sisus fault, (it may well be, I don't know the full ins and outs).
Fisher said he wants to build bridges but I see no evidence of it even when an opportunity presents itself.
Covered the costs for what though?
People will just blame ccfc anyway.
It has been explained it's out of the club's hands hasn't it?At the moment people will just blame CCFC, you're right. So how do we move away from that culture?
sisu have got to start playing the PR game and getting fans on side. Imagine if covboys original post had said that Fisher had come into the corporate, explained this was ACL and out of the clubs hands and made some sort on conciliatory gesture, wouldn't that have been a start?
Maybe if sisu showed a bit of willing people would be more receptive to getting behind th team. Maybe the idea of selecting a game to try and get a massive walk up with the focus purely on our love of the club, an idea both me and you have given the thumbs up to in the past, might start to receive a bit more interest.

Are SISU CCFC today?Covered the costs for what though?
