Tbf we'd just been in the playoffs when he said that and at the time of ticket sales it was a reasonable expectation. What did we expect him to say 'I'm hoping not have a relegation fight or we aim for midtable obscurity'?

got grievance that's affecting the whole?
We have heard several times from the man himself that some factors are not his remit now?

I guess backroom upheaval would be a factor but I'd say a lot of clubs go through that just feels like a missed opportunity this year.
