You know we're on a bad run when the protests get going. I'm not against them by any means, it's just annoying how a good run happens and everything's fine again apparently.

It’s the same group that organised the one at the Council House on Saturday.

What were they protesting about?

I would have thought that it is more to do with the fact that we are three months away from being homeless. I don’t know who has organised these protests, I didn’t know they were happening. I think it says something about some posters on here that the immediate reaction is to sneer at those involved and question their motives, ie, only doing it because the team are doing badly. Howeve the team are doing, the situation at the Ricoh needs to be solved. In the past we were told that all protests should not affect the team. Any protests should involve all parties, not just Sisu. As far as I know, Saturday’s protest was after the match, and here is an example of involving CCC. We also had the sleeping out event which raised money for the homeless as well as highlighting our own soon to be homeless status. I am not saying that protests will change anything for the better but if they don’t make things worse, why the constant cynicism from some on here for those who feel they have got to try something? Fine if you think it is futile, fine if you don’t want to get involved, but why the sneery attitude?

Yep, exactly what most on here were calling for, ie action against all parties, when that does/is happening, people like to shoot them down!:banghead:

I agree with you to an extent but it doesn’t seem to have been the best publicised protest. If they’re looking to represent the fans surely they should surely look to be more inclusive. Or am I the only one who doesn’t know anything about this?

Shows how good a job they made of it. Was anyone even in the council house on Saturday to give 2 shits? I doubt it.

All for the protests, it's not unreasonable to point out that the publicity for them wasn't exactly great. Didn't know of the council house one until it was mentioned here, and the ground one I only knew of once had left, so no chance to join in with either of them, whether wanted to or not.

There will be people who shoot it down, you're right, but there will also be people who want to get involved so the more publicity the better.

Have to say, don't think anybody could argue against a sit-in after the game, anyway. Council one? Could argue Saturday not ideal but... guess it's more likely to get numbers when people are getting ready for a match.

And if the assumption of this board is right, it'll be all over a Council and then a Wasps protest ;)

Keeping it quiet. Nothing on CT. Nothing on SBT. Nothing on jimmyhillway. Seems odd not to publicise a protest other than on FB.

Interestingly I heard on radio this morning that age profile of FB users was mainly 25-35, whereas on here it is plainly 50+

Just saying..

Think the staying at the end of games if it were thousands even hundreds is a good idea. Stay until the club address us or Sisu or fisher whoever but they are not going to peacefully move on 3000 people are they?

I saw a picture of the protest if you can call it that. There was more stewards than fans! Sisu don't give a flying f*** about us. Waste of time. Might as well fold, get rid of sisu that way and hit the reset button.
