Genuine question here. What's stopping the EGM from being postponed again? Realistically if talks with whoever, whether it be a groundshare or Wasps, aren't yet concluded by Wednesday what choice to the EFL have?
Nothing to worry about... club will be in contact with EFL... saying we have groundshare at BCFC lined up but still.in talks with Wasps re Ricoh.
Don't think it will get to a vote... even if it does we won't be voted out... despite what many of the "phoenix club" idiots want/think....

Dawkins tweeting St Andrews will be announced in next few days, could be on the wind up though.

Check out @dawkinscov1980’s Tweet:

so they told the players a few weeks ago but they told the new signings either that we will be playing at the Ricoh or we will be playing at St.Andrews but tell the fans you're looking forward to playing at the Ricoh when you're interviewed?

I wouldn't usually give any of these sort of tweets the time of day, but he seems to know a few players, hope he's off the mark here.

If it was known a few weeks ago, no way this would still be a “secret”.

I had heard that they were briefed to expect City playing there but that it wasn’t certain and could change any minute. They are worried about the pitch as it’s not only our games but apparently our u23s will have to play some games there as well.
There's a rule that the u23s have to play a certain number of games at the ground the first team plays at. Sure the league could use their famous discretion if needed. Of all the rules to choose to be inflexible on that would be an odd one to pick.

They said a while back they need to know that we'll be in the league and where we are playing to be able to to organise the fixtures so I would guess once the plays offs are complete they'll want to crack on with that.

The EFL have there AGM in Portugal next week and according to a couple of people who I know are attending the CCFC situation isn't even on the agenda.
So, either the EFL are aware of the outcome and are happy or they are steering clear of all the politics. I believe it is the former.

Perhaps we are going to have to play our first 23 games away from home, until somewhere else is agreed, or a new stadium is built out of Lego. First game at the Ricoh, shared stadium or The Lego Arena just after Christmas, to coincide with Santa delivering the final sack of Lego floodlights.

Hmmm, wonder if my company fancies holding their AGM in Barbados.

Simon Gilbert will be delighted - he'll fit right in!

If we move to St. Andrews we WILL be playing our first 23 games away from home.

It might become home for a very long time

I guess until the club has new owners who will negotiate a Ricoh deal with Wasps (or the Official Receiver after they are officially fucked by the EC fine). But any new owner would have to offer SISU enough to get them to sell (no, Joe, £7.5m will not be enough!), THEN be able to afford to buy half the Ricoh lease (in my view).

I know and that is a big, big concern. That hits local businesses in Coventry and will prevent many a young kid from adopting City as their team.

If we go there for 3-5 years I think it will be so damaging for the club, the supporters and Coventry itself.

Hmm.....not really considered this too much, but do we feel that with City gone, that more people might switch to Wasps?

I sincerely hope not.

The EFL choose Vilamoura. Just a big jolly !!
Makes perfect sense with 3 reps from each of 72 clubs flying to Portugal when there are adequate facilities in the U.K. Great for the carbon footprint.
If you need examples about things that are wrong with football, here is one staring you in the face.

I don't think Sisu will budge for anything less than about £20m and I cannot see anyone coughing up that sort of money unless a numpty like me wins the EuroMillions.
