Because he's our record holder as a player for "most penalties conceded in a season"? Dunno, I can see no reason whatsoever for wanting Pressley :(

I don't really won't him, but would take him before Curle, Brown etc

Eric Black please

"He explained that the search for a new manager had seen application whittled down from 70 to 4 and that shortlist would be down to 2 within a couple of days. He advised those attending to not pay any heed to the supposed shortlist published on a BBC website that day."

I am sure that Eric Black's name was mentioned on the BBC story so from what Waggott said last night none of the reported names linked on that story are in contention...

I don't think we should appoint anybody at the moment until there is a clearer picture on how we stand. Fisher and Waggott seem to be the ones making the big decision and may be history in a week, a month, 3 months , who knows. We ain't going down and almost certainly not going up so keeping Carsley at the helm for a couple of months more what does it matter. Any new boss can't sign anyone on loan so has to work with the current squad. Don't have a view on Steven Pressley other than as soon as the Rangers job comes up again if he is doing okay here he will be well in the frame for that gig. He's a 'Gers man to the bone.

Well I'm a "Gers" fan too, and under no circumstances would I have played for the Green and White Shite, unlike Presley

Joe Murphy seems to think we shouldn't change things.

'Goalkeeper Joe Murphy said: “Because we’re still in and around it I personally think they should leave it as it is because a new man coming in might change things and the momentum might go.'

Well said, Joe.

Why on earth would we want to halt a slide of 4 games in a row lost at home?

I would say if we could get a good manager, go for it for that is our only possible chance of sorting out our home form. Carry on as we are and we are going to win away and lose at home and that's not going to be good enough.
