Thought the fans were great today. A real good atmosphere matched by a decent performance and a smashing 3 points.
Keep them coming please!
Keep them coming please!
Mowbray sent them home cryingLeeds took over 7k to Blackburn today, we have some catching up to do!
In fairness they're easily one of the top 10 best supported clubs in Britain, got fans everywhereLeeds took over 7k to Blackburn today, we have some catching up to do!
And we had a better atmosphere today with just over a thousand. We took 8000 to Milton Keynes
Leeds, in comparison, have a population of around 500k, have won 3 league titles, competed in a Champions League semi final and been in a European cup final. Needless to say, have owners that aren't SISU and are competitive in the championship.Leeds took over 7k to Blackburn today, we have some catching up to do!
Think the fact its been so shit for so long is why we have such a good bunch of away fans.If this club could have several decent to good years with another promotion , I honestly believe we would have some of the best away fans in England (not that I don’t really think that anyway )
Absolutely mental at times I love it

Fun fact
Leeds is the largest 1 team city in Britain .
Population 784,800
Metropolitan area of 2.6 million people .
They should have tremendous support tbh
One club city*We're in the top 5 one city clubs. Our home support should be higher.

Sunderland and Newcastle would be in there also I would guess? Man City as United aren’t turning up!Who are the others ?
Leeds were the Man Utd or Man City in their dominant era , with multiple titles and even had a film made about them! We battled relegation for most of our top flight era and won an FA cup, with pretty much fook all from there on ( save for the ‘entertainers season’ ) where we were the underdogs done good
To get new generations hooked you need a bit more than that. Thankfully in the last couple of seasons we have had a smaller cup final win and promotion from league 2 ... with a really enthusiastic parent that’s enough to help get the kids engaged but it has to continue to keep building
The population of Newcastle upon Tyne is around 260,000, the population of the Tyneside conurbation is 830,000+.Newcastle's population is skewed by not having gateshead, which is the same just the other side of the river, not included in the numbers.
Oh forgot Forest Green. Town population of nearly 6,000 with an average attendance of 2,000
I think we’re the 3rd largest City with one club ‘behind Leeds and Bradford, althoughBradford and Leicester are both larger one club cities. Think we're 4th largest with either Newcastle or Sunderland next.
I think we’re the 3rd largest City with one club ‘behind Leeds and Bradford, although
That would be measured by city population only and not contiguous urban area.
If you went on population of the urban area we’d also be behind Newcastle, Leicester,
Middlesbrough and possibly Brighten
