£15 million ? Well if that was spent in the summer on the squad added to what we have and by a decent manager it would pretty well guarantee a very serious promotion push if not promotion itself. I have yet to see a stadium score a goal. Getting into the premier league would make buying the Ricoh or atleast half of it easier.

And if we don't go up then we're propper fkd and still don't own the stadium.

People keep quoting the "I have yet to see a stadium score a goal" but I've yet to see too many investors queuing up to invest in something with little assets and not a great deal of potential.

£15m would put us on a one season level with a relegated side who already have a much stronger squad than we do. I would think even with that money promotion would be an unbelievable achievement.

You would have to say the Arena, it seems to make sense. I would however like to know what difference it would make to our position though, according to Leonard our biggest out goings are player wages and the lease at the Ricoh. I believe we have been previously told the lease is 1 million so that means annual loss is down to 5 million, from the 6 million figure quoted at the shambolic press conference, we cant really afford to drop players wages cos the team we are currently paying for is more than likely not good enough, so we cant particularly make any savings there.

The Problem as I see it still remains even if the %50 stake sees us break even, are Sisu going to put more cash in to buy players and help the squad progress? However I presonally think they will mortgage the %50 stake to carry on funding us for a couple of years...

i think we should invest in the squad because if we can get promation :D ( i know its a long way of ) then we will earn more money to make it posable to buy the might ricoh arena.

I would invest in the squad, should be able to build a promotion winning team with that & then you have the Prem money to buy the Ricoh, ;)

Got to be the Arena...at least owning the ground would give the club a chance to build. Otherwise we would find ourselves facing administration again in a couple of years

definatley the arena, no guarantees that the players purchased would perform any better than the current squad! spending it on players is a gamble...buying the arena makes perfect business sense :)

If we all think the arena, why are we moaning about SISU saying the same thing ?
