If we get Barton and Bruno and then if you consider that we need two senior squad members for every first team position, then we are pretty much covered:
GK: Murphy, Dunn
LB: Hussey, Brown
RB: Clarke, Christie
CB x 2: Edje, Malaga, Wood, Cameron
LM: Sheff, Kilbane
RM: Bell, Baker
CM x 2: Fleck, Barton, Thomas, Deegan
CF/SC x 2: Elliot, McDonald, Ball, Bruno
From this, we would also have the older academy kids to dip into, such as Jeffers, Henderson, Willis, Ruffles, not to mention ROD!!
The positions played by our squad players may alter, as injuries will strike and we do have some versatile players, which will be useful for tactical reasons.
Given that the vast majority of these players turned out in the Nuneaton and Wrexham defeats, you may think that despite having sufficient quantity, the quality of our squad is another matter entirely!
