Not surprising and the capatilist in me would always support anyone who could get a deal at below market price. No one would offer full price for a house or a car would they?
Most peoples issue is how they are going about their business to acheive this, ie distress tactics in order to engineer an angle that perhaps wasnt there before. Its one thing knocking 10% of the value but I would guess they are not happy with such paltry reductions.
And SISU are doing a pretty good job of that too. I have said in previous posts a lot of what is going on is a football problem not just a Coventry problem.
Local businessmen used to run football clubs, now it is international business people. Unsurprisingly the lack of morals and the ability to exploit loopholes is the name of the game as it is in the global market.
It's all about profit not loyalty to your customer.
Absolutely and maybe it would work, but we don't know, the only problem I have with richh87's answers regarding a fan owned Club is that it would only be a temporary stop gap in essence until the Fan club owners could combine with CCFC, That's just purely not right is it?
The way Sisu are going about things is nothing to be condoned, however it's all they know and unfrotunately what we are left with.
The Trust represents the fans. The fans' tax money built the Ricoh. We don't want it gifted to SISU.

Great to see reasoned debate. Anything else anyone wants answering?
foregone conclusion ,surely .Yes, who would win in a fight out of the trust board?
Beyond NOPM how is it proposed that we kick SISU in the nuts? I give nothing at all to CCFC at present, what else should I do? It does seem that SISU are self financing and the lack of income from the club is not affecting them.
foregone conclusion ,surely .
A more relevant contest would be between the Chairmen of both Entities up against one another ,could sell a few tickets that one ,winner takes all!!:slap:Yes, who would win in a fight out of the trust board?
might as well sell the soul of the club to the devil.
Yes and unfortunately that has happened to us !

So why don't fans just get behind the CCFC Supporters Team?
I have taken the below quote from another thread which will probably in the near future erupt into another Sisu vs CCCouncil arguement however, Scottie's question is a good one:
So my question along with Scottie's to the Trust would be, Are you currently trying to repair relationships with the Club and Do you even intend to?
Is there anyone from the Trust on the forum who can answer this?
Practical sugestion btw, the trust website still uses different fonts for press releases (professionalism, men!) and the Meet the Board page still has people in their old roles. Does this mean the email I had about reshuffles hasn't actually happened... or the web page hasn't been updated yet?
I can assure you that even after the recent letter it's our intention to continue dialogue with TIm Fisher, Mark Labovitch and with Joy Seppala if we are ever given the opportunity.
Some of us have met with TF and ML as part of the SCG group and I am confident they know our views and principles. At the same time we are also keen to carry on meeting with ACL, CCC and the FL as any sort of open negotiations might help our supporters see an end to our plight.
Without being funny if the trust didn't exist would it make any difference?
Despite only seeing their new chair from a distance... I doubt I'd like him when he's angry!

This thread is playing into Sisus hands. Now "both sides are to blame", just like the council, and the Higgs, and anyone else Sisu fucks up relations with.
Sorry, as the saying goes: meet one dickhead and you met a dickhead. Meet dickheads all day and you're the dickhead.
Actually the SCG did not meet JoyI'm not so sure Fernando, more could be done from both sides (won't argue that), both sides have made mistakes (won't argue that either), however what Members of The Trust ought to be thinking is "What is the Trust's aim right now?" The SCG has spoken to Joy once and constantly in contact with Fisher, do you think the Trust may have had the same opportunity had things not gone sour down the line irrespective of who's fault it was?
Well 40% of the survey respondents seem to believe all sides are to blame.

No. (And this is why I've stayed out of that thread).
Just under 40% feel that the council hold some of the blame.
It was a terrible survey in fairness, partly because of questions like that. You could easily read it as 95% don't think the council is to blame.
Besides this is all academic as I wasn't talking about stadium blame but in fact blame for everything where it seems Sisu are hard done by.
I remember in 2008 Mick McCarthy claiming them to be the most unprofessional people he's ever had to deal with.
They put the blame back on him. Seems they've been doing that since day one.
Was the McCarthy thing about Eastwood?
Think so.
