Really?
I find him annoying and dull and thought last night's episode was Paddington Central.
Seem to be padding things out by devoting whole episodes to peripheral characters (Tara, Eugene).
Seemed very much like a filler episode for me.
I thought it was just passable.
Hope it doesn't go the way of Lost and keep dedicating whole episodes to pretty much one single character.
Oh and Negan is becoming far too cartoonish. More a joke than an ice cold killer.
Stunned me too.
How did the producers pass that as being okay?
It was dreadful.
Yeah, I do get that, but for me, Rosita, Sasha and Eugene are all very weak characters and not richly drawn enough to carry any weight.
Morgan I think is a great character, tortured and conflicted. I like Jesus too and then obviously there is Rick, Michonne, Daryl, Carol.
I am even warming to Gabriel a bit more. Tara I quite like too, but some of these characters they are focusing on have very little depth. Rosita in particular. I find her incredibly one dimensional.
Would any of us care one jot if she died?
Yeah, get that, but I found the Governor scarier. Negan is way OTT. I know the Governor was too, but his was unhinged. With Negan it's like he's trying to be Jim Carrey. The source material is a cartoon, Negan is literally a cartoon baddy. I get why the show gets criticism with the shit deer and sword throwing stuff but it's always been cartoonish. it is a cartoon.

Tbh i agree, none of the characters are good, and I hope all 3 die during the attack, will give a chance for new blood to come into the series, and also means that it was a sacrifice made without killing off the most lovable and irreplaceable characters.
I agree i like Gabriel more, and have always liked Jesus, but I don;t think they committed any time to the other characters before, and so they are trying too now before killing them off. Like with Abraha, they started to concentrate on him more and then killed him.
Really hope Rosita does die, you are right she comes across as stupid and reckless and really adds nothing to the group, have a feeling it will end up with sasha being killed not her tho.
Just send Carl in to love them up.Really enjoyed this episode. A bit cheesy in places but we're one step closer to an epic final battle.
Will be interesting to see what happens with the female group and how rick approaches them.

Just got back from Spain and binge watched the first five series. Really enjoying it, into series six and Glenn has just been eaten WTF?
Sounds like it. The scene with Nicholas it sounds like. Was that the one by the wheelie bins?
YesWas that the one by the wheelie bins?
Just wanna say that I haven't seen Glenn for absolutely AGES!!you tease
Yeah, whatever happened to Glenn? And SkyBlueTaylor?Just wanna say that I haven't seen Glenn for absolutely AGES!!
SkyBlueTaylor was shot, garotted and then strangled to death by the Governor. Glenn however was more of a Negan target I believe.Yeah, whatever happened to Glenn? And SkyBlueTaylor?

Does he? I thought everyone liked him. Rosita is annoying and Carl is annoying and pudding bowl haired, pigeon English girl is annoying, but I thought we all liked Rick.I binged watched series 7 over the last two weeks (I can't watch weekly installments, I'm too impatient) and, while to an extend I appreciate why the later seasons have been criticised, it's still great viewing.
It's a great break/unwind/chill to take you away from the 101 things happening in life, which, in my mind, is one of the ultimate measures of a television programme.
Also, I know the character gets some stick, but I really like Rick!
Me and 'er indoors have been watching Fear the Walking Dead all this week. Not bad. Different characters obviously, but they all have a story to tell. It seems to get better as it goes along. Just on Ep 3, Season 2 at the moment. If you can find it, give it a whirl.
I watched the first few but couldn't get into it.

It gets better, honestly. After they get away from L.A. and onto the boat (or rather, luxury yacht!), it gets better. I don't think the character, Strand, can be trusted. He's always on edge and wanting to hurry everyone along for some reason. Has he got an ulterior motive? (It's his yacht, by the way.)Same here. Found myself fast forwarding through it after about 3 episodes. Found it rather plodding and many of the characters I just didn't warm to.
Sorry to resurrect, but I've avoided this thread for the last few months - thats when I started watching WTD and, after getting in an episode most nights when the wifes gone to bed, just finished season 7 last night. Generally, really enjoyed it! Its been great finally reading these posts and seeing what everyone else thinks and I agree at times it plodded on, spinning out the story on some of the less interesting characters. Glad I did it all in a few months otherwise I might have got dissinterested like I did with 24. Having to wait a week for the story to not really progress would have been a turn off, this happened on a number of occasions.
Rick and Daryl make it for me as the "buddy" element. Daryl's a tough cookie but he always tries to protect and stand up for the weak, and would like to have seen more of his back story so we understood why he isn't a git like his brother. Rick, I like how he's turned from the good guy cop who trys to protect everyone, through putting himself first and screw anyone else he's not directly associated with, and now moving back to trying to protect his people and others.
Was getting a bit repetative but the introduction of Negan kick started it again IMHO, since the Gov died that central villain role causing the conflict that most dramas thrive on was missing. Love his dark humour and you never really know what he's thinking, he can turn evil at the drop of a hat which makes him compelling.
Glen and Abraham meeting Lucille was a bit nasty but, other than the canabilism and trough scene at Terminus, I was OK with the violence and didn't find it any more graphic than you would expect these days. I was shocked though when the young girl (forget her name) killed her sister, that was disturbing and, to be honest, that really made me feel sick. I wouldn't be surprised If they got complaints about that, but I see it was essential to show a consequence of Carol teaching the kids to fear the dead. Good old Carol, first season I was hoping they would bump off this waste of space, got that one wrong!
Look foward to the next series, hope its on Fox but I see AMC have their own channel now on Sky which I think you have to pay extra for?
OK, Game of Thrones next, stopped watching after 3 episodes of Season 2 - got too confusing with too many people to follow. Mates got the box sets and keeps telling me to give it a go again, is it worth it?
American Movie Classics.Doesn't AMC stand for American Movie Channel or something similar?
Anyway, when is Walking Dead back.
