Yep
Memories are sometimes what we’re left with when other things have gone
My lad goes to uni next season and he’s the last of my 3 to do so. His face and reaction at the winner was great to see
I’m got my eldest coming with me so don’t have too much sympathy but these joint memories are the ties that bind
Was a very emotional ending to the game
The goal
The celebration
The robins song
The amount of people staying to applaud the team
Football heritage indeed
What's incredible is that when most of us grew up watching this club, moments like yesterday happened once every 4 or 5 years. Now they happen 4 or 5 times a season.
In my lifetime (I'm 40 this year) there has never been a better time to support the club. It doesn't matter what division you're in, wins breed positivity and grow the fanbase.
I think we're more or less guaranteed a top half finish this year, so I can say this with confidence. In the last 10 seasons, we've finished in the top half 8 times. That is the sort of consistency that grows the fanbase and changes its belief in football.
That is why the place is now overrun with kids, and kids that genuinely want to be there.
How it used to be was that if you saw anyone under the age of 15 in the ground, they looked bored stiff and were only there because they were too young to be left at home alone
