Exactly, it was by his side and it moved in the direction he was going when trying to run out with the ball.
There seemed to be no movement towards the ball.

In the studio they were saying Hernandez was looking worried, which sort of vindicates it, but surely he looked worried because he knew if it went to VAR it could be given and that there have been some crazy VAR decisions so far in the competition.

That was as clearer penalty as you will ever see. You need some new glasses Otis.

That just sums up the reason why var should not be used in such instances...it’s all opinion. If we cannot agree on here...oh wait...we never agree on here.

Thing is on that no pen it just reinforceseems the need for clarification.

The ref didn't give it. Was asked to give another look. Looked at it from every angle and STILL said no pen. What chance does anyone have if a ref sees every single angle but still calla it differently to how others saw it?

In a nutshell it comes down to subjective opinions ,today the refs was negative, like it always has been really .
Enough doubt in VAR centre though.

Korea keep making chances and blowing it - you just know Germany will score late on (Korean's all attacking like kids in the playground - dribble, extra touch etc)

Anyway, usually see games through to the end, but think I can safely switch over from the Sweden game now!
