Just watching the Sunderland v West Ham game, as I guess it's West Ham fans, singing "Twist and Shout" :(

Think The Beatles had it first mate.

The Isley Brothers were first I think? Or The Top Notes (but I think that was the Shake it Up Baby version).

Sorry to break it you, but West Ham have sang it for years, going back to the 1980's.

Didn't you notice the last time we played them at the Ricoh, when TnS came over the tannoy before the game started their whole end (6,000 of them) was singing to it.

It was much better when the Twister orchestrated the whole thing, whatever happened to that guy???

Maybe they're fed up of singing the worst song in football history. I'm forever blowing bubbles, pretty bubbles in the air. I mean what the fuck.

Well Sunderland are looking a little doomed... could we perhaps set up a 100-page thread just to gloat about it?

I thought "I'm forever blowing Bubbles" was a Michael Jackson song?

Don't know how to make youtube play here, but all three versions is on YouTube.
I think the Beatles version sounds pretty much just like the Isley Brothers.
You can also find The Top Notes there - they were actually first.

I think tbh we thieved it off West Ham though I regularly row with West Ham fans round where I live I think they are right secretly on this one!
The one original song we have is the sky blues song but our fans whinge about this one all the time ironically!!

Copy the address bar in YouTube, then just above - on this page in comments box - click the icon that looks like a small ladder (supposed to be a film strip) which is "insert video", and paste the URL into that, then post.
