I was on the hill at Sixfields throwing abuse at anybody that went in there.
You even stood on the hill when no ccfc game was being played - now that's commitment .

So was I but , how did you feel when you heard the news ?

Relieved. I remember I was just stacking some books, because I work in the book depository building, when it come over the radio. Next thing I remember is hearing a loud bang and some commotion going on outside. No idea what that was about. I was too busy packing away my rifle.

I was at work, absolutely buzzing. Few other Cov fans in there also buzzing. I got an email from an old directly i worked close witg (villa fan booo) saying he was pleased to hear cov were coming back to the Ricoh.

I remember the drive home well, it was live commentary and updates from the ricoh on CWR and they kept playing "footballs coming home" between items. I was so changed for days and the game itself was a special atmosphere.

I tuned into CWR from work even though it's not my local radio station. People crying on the radio and allsorts..... How quickly things changed :(

I was laying on my back under the kitchen sink I was fitting, when they made the
Announcement on talk sport, I bumped my head trying to escape.
So at first there was pain and lots of expletives, followed by euphoria and an all
Over glow, followed by 3 frantic days on the phone trying to get tickets. :)

Can't remember probably at work, I can remember when the Sisu deal went through I was in the car driving through Galley Common Tunnel Road I think and I cheered, what a mistake that was.

I can't remember where I was.
But I thought at the time, firstly,
that I wished I'd taken up the £200 season ticket offer beforehand
It must have been Mega secret negotiations because my usual inside man didn't have a clue a few days before
And thirdly, that after the initial 2-4 year deal had Gone we'd be off to walsall or somewhere even more obscure.
I think the 3rd thought is still very much a reality waiting to happen, because in on eyes we have never been as far apart in relationship value as we are right now, we were closer when we chipped off to sixfields,
What the Fuck are we gonna do next?
