Let's just agree that the throwing of missiles at innocent spectators is completely unacceptable and that those found guilty of this should be jailed and banned from football grounds for life. Applies to all fans from all clubs.
There are no excuses.
It's not only idiotic and mindless but also dangerous and very cowardly.
The kind of arguments above were once used to defend English hooliganism in Europe i.e. we were provoked, the police were heavy handed, they did this and that.
Finally something we can all agree on.So every England fan that threw his pint in celebration during the world cup should be jailed and banned?

Like I said, at MK away (FA Cup game) bottles of larger were thrown when we scored, I remember getting covered in somebody's orange fanta at Wembley (can't remember which game). It's I'm context.
If somebody just threw a pint at you in a pub you'd have a right to be pissed off/smack them in the face. If there threw a pint in the air during celebration (along with 200 other people) and you got a bit wet then not so much. Were bottle thrown and targeted at certain people, or just thrown up in the air randomly or during celebration? Flares would certainly of only been set off during celebrations rather than just randomly thrown at people. Now questions there surely have to be asked of Sunderland/The old bill. Why are 3000 drunk away fans being housed in a stand on an upper tier above home fans? That's piss poor management. It's not as if there's not enough empty seats in the stadium to work it out differently.
Bottles of lager shouldn't be in the stadium bowl, it's an offence. Also throwing bottles and pints into the air when a team score is a new trend, started i assume by a twat.So every England fan that threw his pint in celebration during the world cup should be jailed and banned?

Attempted murder :emoji_joy:This is slightly hysterical and typical of their attitude towards our club.....yes it’s completely wrong and ideally those who did it should be charged, banned etc but this...
I've said it before but, if so much was being thrown why isnt there a single video of something!? They make out like it was raining "glass" bottles and pyros
All sore loser bullshit

As is they know what a shower isI saw possibly 2/3 bottles go over from a distance, 2 or 3 too many but not a shower like they are claiming. As for anything else who knows?
During a goal celebration. Like I said, it's stupid, but not like ppl are picking ppl out and aiming for them with glass bottles. It's a plastic bottle of cheap lager that was thrown up in the air. Not at somebody's head. Here's 1, at 16.00
I have had a bottle thrown at us at the Ricoh from our own fans that used to stand under the old scoreboard, funny how the all go quiet when challenged.
Ne er happened again

No Jack a pussy. Are you Jack Reacher?
Surely if the amount of bottles thrown was as the Sunderland fans have stated, more then 1 would have hit someone on the head.Attempted murder :emoji_joy:

Yeah. The game where we equalised right at the end through the loanee, Juan Sara, after taking a royal hammering all game, some bright twat on the shelf above us kicked a seat off its moorings and threw it over the edge and into the SBA. Could have killed somebody but fortunately missed everybody.Used to happen when we played at Forest away as well. Away fans sat underneath Forest.
