Absolutely. I use the bus a few times a week, mainly Fridays when I catch the bus from Leamington to Rugby for work. There is always someone talking loudly or listening to music or watching a film without headphones. Drives me mad.

It's the needy look around the bus too as they're having the overly loud phonecalls - as if to say 'Are you watching me? Are you impressed?' - fuck offffffffff

Always thought of this when I taught. When I was a student there was a lecturer who started lectures berating us about people who are late to lectures, who, by definition, weren’t there to hear it.

Seagulls shitting on my car. Just, needless splatters all over the bonnet, and we live a good 20 miles from the coast. Dirty bastards.

Posting because this is the second time it’s happened now.

People who don’t have the courtesy to let you know if they’re cancelling.

Currently selling my house and I’ve had two people now who have booked a viewing and have decided not to turn up.

I live alone in a three bed with two gardens and put hours in each time to ensure the gardens and rooms are set up in a condition to attract a sale.

It makes me so angry how people don’t have the decency or courtesy to call ahead if they’re not attending.

Blatant fraudsters on Facebook marketplace, using comical profiles to try and get your bank details.

‘you send bank detail yeeees, my brother David pick up guitar’

‘Of course, yes, my details are:

MR U. R. AMUG

00-00-00

00000000

F**k off. ’

Facebook in general for me. It's basically unusable now. You get one post from someone you follow and are actually interested in followed by literally 20 adverts and suggested posts you don't give a shit about.

Usage must be through the floor, I've gone form checking it several times a day to a couple of minutes a day before I give up.

Agree with this 100%, scrolling through your feed is just an exercise in dodging clickbait and, as you said, shit you’re just not interested in.

The prevalence of AI Bot accounts trying to befriend me is worrying too.

i bought a new mixing desk a couple of years ago. for months afterwards i was getting adverts flip up for mixing desks.
so, the algorithms were "intelligent" enough to know i was looking for one, but not intelligent enough to know i'd actually bought one.

the last thing i want at the moment is another new mixing desk, you daft bastards.

The way the criminal/police system is set up to pander to the offenders.

Police don't give 2 shits when presented with clear evidence/easy arrest.

Courts awarding compensation for criminal damage to be drip fed from scumbag's benefits. By the time you get said compensation, the quote is void and prices have increased, laughable.

Agree.
Turn or pull up where they want, no indication, in front of whoever. Really slow.
Was in one at weekend and it was almost as if he’d only just passed his test.

Ever since they turned up, standard of taxi driving has slumped. They hurtle round the outside of me, deliberately choose the wrong lanes, scythe across moving traffic to be on time... and that's if they know what they're doing!

Also got shouted at by one for deliberately keeping a keep clear box... clear

Does the court not award you the damages in full and claim the money back from the offender?

Years ago when I was a youth I got mugged at knife point. I'm pretty sure I got sent about £5 a month to pay for my Nokia 5110.

Might have changed now

That's what I assumed, but appears not by the way the letters are worded, will update when I've received it/first payment.

Ironically, the person in question ends up with a substantial amount of money per month from benefits, but has to drip feed payments for criminal damage.

The whole country is, Torch!
The highway authority (generally the county council or unitary authority) apparently have a statutory duty to authorise enabling works for building developments which have been granted permission (and it usually means water, then gas, then electricity, then drainage, then telecoms, then the junction construction), so this will generally get worse as the number of house builds increases.
However, in my view, they exert zero control over what the set-up of these lights looks like, either from a risk perspective or from the impact it has on traffic and other road users (e.g. having three-way lights with equal timings, when one of them is a road which has about 2 cars per hour wanting to come out of it, and my bugbear of not being cleared away at the end of the workday when there are no works in the carriageway).
In short, county council highways don't have a f*cking clue!

I second that. I did see an Uber the other day that wasn't a Toyota Prius, which was a little alarming.

We had this happen to us last night, we have employed a load of youngsters as our boss likes young boys in his department, they are fucking useless and keep getting caught doing nothing in big groups or generally pissing about and vaping. So last night we all got a bollocking for it you could see the older heads all switch off when it started as we are wise and don’t get caught

My wife and I were walking on the pavement when a young bloke came towards us on his bike, mobile phone in hand. Didn’t slow down or make any attempt to avoid us, I wish I had had a stick to poke in his spokes.

As a regular cyclist, I agree with most of that.

If I catch them up, I call other cyclists out on jumping reds......

.....Unless its a roadman rocking the full NorthFace/Machete/balaclava ensemble.... I tend to let them off with a gentle mumble of "c**t" under my breath...

French people.

Got told off for speaking French in France this morning. Yesterday got told off for sitting at a table for four because there were two of us, despite 90% of the bar being empty, and continuing to be empty ever since.

On paper it could be one of the best countries in the world, but the people ruin it.
