I was just clarifying that some instances of people switching from English to Welsh in front of predominantly English speakers, can be a cultural thing or a dialectic thing.Yeah, sorry if I wasn’t clear. I’ve definitely been in similar scenarios to the one you described there. Mostly in work between colleagues.

However, yes, sometimes it is intentional and ignorant. Luckily I know enough basic Welsh to decipher if they’re slagging me off.
