The girl in black is clearly having a seizure.
All those gormless sheep armed with 'cell phones' too busy capturing an image of a billions and billions of years old celestial body Instead of calling an ambulance for her.

Can tell the schools must be going back, after about 2 months of nothing there's suddenly fucking roadworks outside the one I have to go back to get to work.

Have had fucking weeks of the holidays but decide it's a good time now?

While I am ambivalent politically the press are already attacking the new health minister for her size - sort of wrong for me , it’s about what she does and not what she looks like - I know a lot of fat drinkers who are top blokes

Yeah I’m as anti Tory as you get and it’s a cheap shot. Haven’t GPs got some of the highest drinking and smoking rates out there? Bears no relation to your ability to do the job.

Saw a post on Twitter comparing her to Waynetta Slob (aka Kathy Burke) - unkind but quite funny!
I do struggle with being preached at about being borderline overweight by a morbidly obese nurse (of which there do seem to be a lot in the NHS).

What they should criticise her for is her bigoted views on abortion and LGBTQ+ rights or that she has proved to be incompetent, NOT her physical attributes

Press also focussing on Non white male cabinet content - FFS it doesnt matter to me an iota if they are qualified and can do the job
I think that is where the problem might lie. Many of the new appointments are people who were only elected as an MP in 2015 or 2019 and have little or no ministerial experience and are given positions as Secretaries of State, while those with tons of valuable experience (albeit white males) have been chucked out.

I had these a few weeks ago about Cholestrol when I had just done sponsored running.

"You should be more active and change your lifestyle"
"You haven't asked what exercise I do or about my lifestyle, how can you tell me that?"
"Just increase how much you move"
"I have been running 5 miles every day and climbed Snowden at the weekend. What more do you want me to do?"
"Oh, then we might need to look into it further then as it seems you are active. It might be something else causing it"

Well yes fucking please you useless bitch. It's OK, I have a referral for February 2023. Cheers.

Absolutely agree. What the hell did they ever report this for I don't know.
If they had all been white women then technically they should have reported it the same , but they wouldn't have.

In my job I've worked with a lot of clinicians and bastions of health they are not, unsurprisingly really given the shift working and hours undertaken by hospital based staff in particular. It is ironically a very unhealthy job.

Almost every public sector job comes with a free substance abuse issue in my experience.

Was at the supermarket earlier today. Parked well away from other cars, it was not busy. Returned to my car to find another so tight to my door I could only just get inside. The whole bloody car park to park in and they almost box me in.

Back to cyclists. I was coming into Cov yesterday evening, the back way through Kersley End. Came across two teenage cyclists riding two abreast in the road, decided to do the decent thing and wait for a clear gap, knowing I was going to have to go fully on the other side of the road. Started my manoeuvre, the outside cyclist riding one handed with headphones on decided to do a wobble on his bike and nearly came into the side of me. Get a grip young cyclists, cos on another day you'd have been under my wheels

If a copper can prove you’re distracted and not in full control of the car while wearing headphones and driving, then you can be penalised.

It should be the same with cyclists. On their phones too.

I'm a keen cyclist and I can see anger on both sides regarding cyclists v motorists but cyclists who ride two abreast and don't go single file when a car approaches from the rear are, in my opinion, arrogant and acting in a foolhardy manner.
Worse are cycling groups who simply don't care about anyone else, including pedestrians.

Cyclists wearing headphones have a death wish, surely.

The worst are those who cycle on footpaths/pavements rather than go on the road, got clipped by one the other day when running - he probably learnt a few new English words.

Someone you live with being ill, hacking their lungs up, sneezing/blowing their nose all the time but not even trying to quarantine themselves in some way. Then saying things like "Ugh this is fucking grim, I hope you don't get it!".

Give me a word, or term, for someone who’s been in the job you’re in for 5 minutes, and they’re already forcing their limited opinions as fact. 😑

Mrs Wisdom, who's driven off with all the waterproofs in the boot of the car, while I'm here just as the heavens open. She can't work out the lack of phone signal so needs to use WhatsApp to contact me, either...

Just walked back into the house, at the same time my wife arrives after walking the dog. Inside for 5 seconds, when there's a knock at the door. Wife opens door, to be greeted with 'I'm on prison release, don't worry, I'm not dangerous. I need a fiver'. Dog starts barking at him like mad, and my wife not comfortable with his 'approach' said 'I'm really sorry, we've got things going on here at the moment' (partly true, but partly unhappy with his manner. He replied 'no you're not' turned round, and thumped our wall.

We have purchased once before, when someone was pleasant, and was selling something that we (almost) needed.

This guy may have said he wasn't dangerous, but he was threatening in his manner.

For the record, I hid in the kitchen, ready to jump in with a vicious kitchen implement
