Whilst I can see the point that it is bad taste, I guess I did get my Dad a book on Josef Fritzl for Father's Day one year after this accidental promotion...
I'll bet that's a top cellar.I've got a Fritzl Mug that says "World's Best Dad"
Not everybody is offended by everything
I'll bet that's a top cellar.
Bargain basement.I'll bet that's a top cellar.
Yes! That was CM 01/02, I’m actually 10 seasons in on a career with Cov on it right nowI remember on an old Championship manager game, he was down as John Benjamin Toshack!
I don't carry cash...or very rarely anymore. So walking into a shop with a sign on the counter that says "cash only" is starting to annoy me and then the look on a shopkeepers face when I walk out as though I'm the one who's not with the times. Although I get "cash is king" in many people's eyes still, maybe it's me whos being stubborn and should adapt!

Nah. If you don’t accept cards in 2023 you hate money basically. And are probably dodgy as fuck anyway.
Or an ancient tradesman in his '70s who doesn't do technology because they don't understand it.Or a taxi driver.
That's what happened when the Greek economy crashed some years ago. Shops and bars all suddenly had problems with their card machines, funny that.Nah. If you don’t accept cards in 2023 you hate money basically. And are probably dodgy as fuck anyway.

Being stuck on PAYG for gas / electric still you can only top up using cash at the shop. Pain in the fucking arse.
No still trying to get smart meters. Key and card.Have you not got an app? At least I’ve got that small mercy.
Totally agree.Bloody HS2 - now may not even be going to terminate in Central London. So you save 20 minutes on the New Street to Euston journey but then spend an hour getting in from Acton on the Elizabeth Line!
Utterly shambolic, utter waste of money, utter devastation of South Warwickshire and beyond. Utter trough-feeding too
Why does it take so long?No still trying to get smart meters. Key and card.
Been trying for months
Issues with British gas and Western power arguing who's job things are.Why does it take so long?
I hate this shit. The places where it's card only. Why am I not allowed to pay by cash? Fuck off
Every Chinese in our area is cash only.Nah. If you don’t accept cards in 2023 you hate money basically. And are probably dodgy as fuck anyway.
Every Chinese in our area is cash only.
Everywhere would take only cash so they could get away without declaring it to the taxman.Wut?
Nope. Sorry. Everywhere should offer both. Cash is kingGet with the times grandad. Bet they don’t take gold doubloons either
A postage stamp is legal tender - a bus driver would have to accept that as currency.
If he doesn’t, report him. That’s an old wives tale..only courts have to accept legal tender .. any business can refuse to take cash if they want to .. it’s up to the individual what they accept for payment
TBF to the shops it is up to them, the charges levied by the card companies are excessive so I can understand why they might go cash onlyI don't carry cash...or very rarely anymore. I think you have your timeline mixed up…Everywhere would take only cash so they could get away without declaring it to the taxman.
Just put the prices up to cover it?TBF to the shops it is up to them, the charges levied by the card companies are excessive so I can understand why they might go cash only
They've got difficulty enough being competitive with larger supermarkets and the internet without having to put prices up to pay a disproportionate levyJust put the prices up to cover it?
