Things that annoy you (6 Viewers)

It's a very Spanish thing and they also use the diminutive which makes it even more personal and in turn more annoying. One of the most recent examples is the tennis player Carlos Álvarez whom people refer to as "Carlitos".

Whenever you, as a courtesy, ask someone if they need anything from the shop and not only does the person accept your gracious offer, they ask you for the most inconvenient thing; an item right at the back of the supermarket, sectional sofa, fucking, life size replica of the Saturn V rocket!

If they did a study of the intelligence of quiz show contestants I'm certain Tipping Point would come out with the thickest average by some way. Every show there's at least one person you wouldn't trust to cross the road unaided
Or with a tub of two penny pieces in an amusement arcade.

When you have to go to the chemist to get an emergency prescription for a few days and have to pay nearly a tenner because a GP fucked up, to then have to pay a tenner again in a few days.

Meanwhile, the place is full of people who can't speak a word of English and are rude as fuck who don't pay a penny.

Echo this. I am now of an age where I no longer pay for prescriptions but when I did I was always the only one who had to dip my hand in my pocket. Not exclusively but mainly those who required methadone waltzed in and got their freebie. Even those who were on benefits had to wait ‘patiently’ for those to get their daily fix.

Experience it all the time round here I'm afraid, try and time my visits to avoid the crowd's which can be vast around lunch and school kick out time's, there is no urgency from the staff to move the que on,so everyone gathers together in a confined space, changed hand's about twice in around 5yrs or less the one beforehand was excellent.🙆🤔

Tbf I'll be attending my doctors soon along with my daughter and will be asking some hard questions of my (non) treatment and the current direction of the practice?
I mean I requested counselling recently as I've had before and the response of doctor/practitioner was pathetic recommended a charity for god sake who I expect are funded through this, shocking!

For anything like that, GPs are generally useless. They have no interest at all.

Hopefully if you kick off a bit they can sort something 😔

I've just tried having a conversation with Newsboy,a bit onesided if I'm honest.
Absolute waste of time!
Which of the technologies would you recommend, a bossy woman or a mate down the pub?

Didn’t know about this until I started dating someone with a chronic illness, so in case anyone else also didn’t.

If you get more than one prescription per month it’s worth pre paying as it can save you a lot:

Like many things like this, it’s not advertised / promoted very well, almost as if “they” don’t want people to use it.

I use this and it's great but I've noticed nobody ever checks to see if you are actually paying. They used to send you a physical proof of payment until they 'upgraded' the system.

Now you get nothing and I've checked with my pharmacy and they have no way of checking if you actually are enrolled on the scheme or not.

Quite bizarre isn't it?

Chinese sellers on eBay. It's not always clear they are based in China, product descriptions are often misleading and it's virtually impossible to cancel an order once it's been placed.

Yeah a lot of it is just stuff from AliExpress.

No idea how they get away with it.
