Crunchy Jacks. (I’d be surprised if anyone remembers these).

This was the first Halloween ever I wasn't able to find a bag of mini Mars Bars. It's just as well as I usually end up scoffing them all myself.

Also haven't seen any so-called 'Value Lager' (or Bitter) in Morrisons for as long as I can remember. It may taste disgusting but it allows me to continue working online without getting drunk.

So it's disgusting and doesn't get you drunk.
Why bother drinking it?

Tins of cocoa. Not bloody hot chocolate, but COCOA! Used to love it as a bedtime drink in the late 50's! And Ovaltine! Can't seem to find that anywhere! 😡

You can still get cocoa from most supermarkets as I use it when I make chocolate brownies.

The big supermarkets usually have their own brand and Bournville. I got some Tesco branded cocoa recently.

Those tiny 50g jars of Gold Blend, looked almost like samples.

I don't use very much myself, for a long time I only ever served it to visitors who preferred it to real coffee and it goes stale very quickly after breaking the seal if not used up.

I love a bit of French Mustard, not Dijon or any fancy stuff, but the brown stuff.
Love it on my steak and in a Diane sauce.
But it's increasingly harder to find.
I have looked in Morrisons Tesco Asda Sainsburys none there.
Was in Waitrose in Kenilworth today and voila it was there so I stocked up on it.
So I will have to drive to Kenilworth every time I need some.
Also, not that I ever bought it, but Colmans used to do a German Mustard, you don't see that anymore.
Is there anything that you find hard to get hold of that used to be prominent?
Practically anything basic can be missing these days. Shit Logistics.

I have fancied some garlic mushrooms for 3 weeks. Still waiting

Its ridiculously expensive these days and they have changed it as well. Very bitter in my view.

Why can't they just leave things alone and stock the shops!!!!!

Ice Cream Rolls.

Can't find them for love nor money.
Do you mean Arctic Rolls? I just Googled them and apparently, they were discontinued years ago, but Birds Eye reintroduced them in 2008. You can buy them in most main supermarkets. Try goggling them. 😉

Coffee Crisp. Delicious.
(You'd need to be as ancient as me and Houch to remember these tbh).
Allegedly they are still sold in Canada, but not sure if they are the same.

Trust me, I have.

i have checked every single supermarket I've been in for months while I'm there to see if they have one.

Numerous branches of Tesco, Sainsburys, ASDA, Lidl, Iceland, Aldi, Co-op. Nothing. Even when it looks like they're available online when you actually go onto buy it it says unavailable.

I'll have a look in Heron this week if I remember, they do excellent ice cream paraphernalia, quite a range.
