So it's disgusting and doesn't get you drunk. This was the first Halloween ever I wasn't able to find a bag of mini Mars Bars. It's just as well as I usually end up scoffing them all myself.
Also haven't seen any so-called 'Value Lager' (or Bitter) in Morrisons for as long as I can remember. It may taste disgusting but it allows me to continue working online without getting drunk.
It passes the time and helps me sleep. So it's disgusting and doesn't get you drunk.
Why bother drinking it?
I think you can still get it at Home BargainsMild beer
You can still get cocoa from most supermarkets as I use it when I make chocolate brownies.Tins of cocoa. Not bloody hot chocolate, but COCOA! Used to love it as a bedtime drink in the late 50's! And Ovaltine! Can't seem to find that anywhere!
The big supermarkets usually have their own brand and Bournville. I got some Tesco branded cocoa recently.Tins of cocoa. Not bloody hot chocolate, but COCOA! Used to love it as a bedtime drink in the late 50's! And Ovaltine! Can't seem to find that anywhere!
Ahhhh, I lived on that stuff for a long time. Yum.Cafferys
Read that as ten boob notes. Didn't realise old money was so graphic!Ten bob notes in yer change!! Bring back REAL money!
It's getting hard to find to Bitter, let alone Mild, except for massively overpriced 'Premium Bitter'.Mild beer
Yep. I mix a small amount of Bournville with Cadbury's as one is too sweet and the other too bitter. The big supermarkets usually have their own brand and Bournville.
Practically anything basic can be missing these days. Shit Logistics.I love a bit of French Mustard, not Dijon or any fancy stuff, but the brown stuff.
Love it on my steak and in a Diane sauce.
But it's increasingly harder to find.
I have looked in Morrisons Tesco Asda Sainsburys none there.
Was in Waitrose in Kenilworth today and voila it was there so I stocked up on it.
So I will have to drive to Kenilworth every time I need some.
Also, not that I ever bought it, but Colmans used to do a German Mustard, you don't see that anymore.
Is there anything that you find hard to get hold of that used to be prominent?
Its ridiculously expensive these days and they have changed it as well. Very bitter in my view. Those tiny 50g jars of Gold Blend, looked almost like samples.
I don't use very much myself, for a long time I only ever served it to visitors who preferred it to real coffee and it goes stale very quickly after breaking the seal if not used up.
Ice Cream Rolls.Practically anything basic can be missing these days. Shit Logistics.
I have fancied some garlic mushrooms for 3 weeks. Still waiting

Yes. I expect they aren't very good for you, but I just like them.Frozen?
Do you mean Arctic Rolls? I just Googled them and apparently, they were discontinued years ago, but Birds Eye reintroduced them in 2008. You can buy them in most main supermarkets. Try goggling them.Ice Cream Rolls.
Can't find them for love nor money.
Ooh; had forgotten those. Loved 'em.Tooty Fruitys, was fuming when they discontinued them.

I'll have a look in Heron this week if I remember, they do excellent ice cream paraphernalia, quite a range.Trust me, I have.
i have checked every single supermarket I've been in for months while I'm there to see if they have one.
Numerous branches of Tesco, Sainsburys, ASDA, Lidl, Iceland, Aldi, Co-op. Nothing. Even when it looks like they're available online when you actually go onto buy it it says unavailable.
