Got to admire these kids but some of the responses to them on social media are shocking.

Every single bit of available evidence points to making guns harder to get lowering gun crime but they won't have it. By the logic they use, that you won't stop all gun crime, everything should be legal. Drugs, rape, murder, the lot. You're never going to completely eradicate those so why bother trying.

some NRA brain donor tweeted the survivors saying no one would know who you were if your friends hadn't been killed. That's the people whose mindset has to change, that's going to be difficult.

Yeah, I can hardly believe some of the words and arguments used on twitter . But the States is a land of incredible contrasts.

You can't ban guns in the USA. The right to own them is guaranteed by the constitution.
They could pass local laws to make them more difficult to obtain or own, but it's hard to do because any politician who tries to do that will be voted out of office.
