On a serious note if they called this thing something other than Greater Birmingham it wouldn't be a terrible idea. However it is, so it is.

Birmingham has never been a fan of seeing its neighbours prosper and this is their way of eliminating the prospect for good. No doubt they will offer CCC £2.77m for the naming rights to the city and it will be accepted.

This Is no doubt a kneejerk response to the call for a Federalised England ,post Scottish referendum ,doesn't Inspire a lot of faith Does It ?

Huge differences between the central belt and the rest of Scotland but doesn't stop the SNP wankers trying to put them all in the same grouping. Nothing against the Brum idea in principle but the name has got to be neutral for everyone.

Would be like renaming the country Greater England.

Still though, come May the good people of Coventry will vote to keep Labour in power and the very people who have played their part in shafting us { at least locally} will continue to prosper !
