Looks just about it, Vile looked the classier side but some decent prospects for us ...4 mins added on

Not a bad effort, well done to our kids for giving it a go. They are kids after all and if the passing and crossing were of better standard who knows what the end result would have been against, to be fair to them, a good Villa side. Wonder what Villa's academy set up is like? That for them Odetayo tricky, pacy, scored twice. If he was in our youth setup we'd be urging him to be in the first team on that showing.

The Villa Academy operates out of the very impressive Bodymoor Heath which is their main training ground. Their Academy budget will be 4-5 times that of ours and they should be significantly better than they are.
On the plus side HS2 is supposed to be going straight through it, so lots of fulfilling jobs in the future as someone gets to knock it down.

HS2 is just clipping a small corner of Bodymoor, giving Villa a bucketload of compensation to expand the site even further, doubling the size of the facility using adjacent land they've already purchased.

The difference were the two lads in attack for Villa who have been imported from abroad. Looked good players and much physically stronger than anyone on both sides
