well , why does he need to comment about it then? "Managing expectation" is the biggest hoot I have read on here for a very long time, thank you. I don't need to "twist" anything thorn says. you should phone him and start a double act.

Friendlies are a chance to get match fit and for the new lads to gel with the rest of the team.

Results are meaningless, obviously nice to win, but not important.

A person can be afflicted with poor judgement, as I suspect you are. No jibes from me at those with genuine problems. And it's not just managers who can be third rate - supporters can be too; as you clearly demonstrate

Ffs - do you think he specifically telephoned the CT or Coventry City Mad specifically to get a plea out to fans?

It is most probably 1 quote from a press conference that has been specifically moulded in to a story.

ok, its the press ,he said nothing, or it was distorted. he is a great manager and knows what he is doing, I am totally out of order. your clearly far more knowledgable than me.

move to north Korea if you don't like dissent, I was handing over my money before thorn had even thought about coventry city,people who question others fans motives make me tired.

I'm not sure what some people's problem is with Thorn. My guess is they're angry at being in League 1, but too stupid to aim their anger at our shocking owners.

Pre season friendlies are all about trying out new formations and getting match fit. So if we use 18 players during the game we should win by lots of goals?

So are we bashing AT before even the first friendly or have we got WUM'S amongst us?
