There were 4 of us and it took about 8 months to do.
Cobol back end. c# front end running on a unix box.

IIRC we looked at this a while ago and it’s certainly not something a couple of students could set up. There’s an open source ticketing platform as a start but it’d be a big old job to customise and even more so to maintain.

I swear people think software is like graphic design or something and any old fucker can do it with five minutes practice.

Look just fire Microsoft paint up do some IT and sort it
