I think this thread has been slightly taken off track in that people are particularly talking about single person/ticket prices. My angle is from that of a family and again I repeat if like us who don't live in Cov decide on the spur of the moment to go to the match we would be asked to pay 2 x adults, 1 x 16-21 and 2 x 15 year olds= Total £ 88.00, that's before travel and anything else. This is for a League 1 football match for 90 mins, that could feasibly be terrible. At that risk, folk will think twice !
You are the one putting people down incorrectly, stick to playing the race card and wumming yeah?
exactly. JPT tickets were cheap to FILL the arena. no different to now
nick is a sixfielder though and just shouldnt comment on ticket prices,
we bring the club home and he reaps the rewards.
FFS, what is wrong with you?
absolutely nothing. i told you before my post was not said with any malice and i meant that. i think people who already have cheap tickets should steer clear of a thread like this as they cant understand what its like to buy matchday tickets at 22 quid this season.
OK, fair enough. I think we should then introduce a rule whereby if you've not been to a game then you can't comment on it. Not seen a member of the squad play? Well, don't dare comment on him. Were you at the Cup Final? No!? Well, please never mention it....ffs....where do you stop.
You really are determined despite your lack of "malice" to consistently have a go at people who went to Sixfields. I hope you move on from it one day, though I'm not sure you will.
Course I do. Yet another poster who can't answer the question. I agree with the figures 100%. I shall ask again.
Why did the club reduce it to £5 a ticket then?
And also RT said it wouldn't affect attendance now this can't be proved or disproved I guess but i think it would of not been a sell out had it been £22-24 that's just my opinion though. I accept that.
In the same breath.. It's between £16.75-£22.74 per person to go to the Belgrade ..£15 a ticket for rugby at the butts..and about £45 a ticket for Alton towers ..yes £88 is a lot of money but we are not that dear in comparison..
I didn't mention your race as I don't even know what race you are, just that you love playing the race card, opitamy of a keyboard warrior.haha excuse me? a joke goes over your head and you call it race card? you are the opitimy of a WUM
people having a discussion about prices and you come on and say people are making excuses not to go? is that not wumming? and how dare you bring up my race.
you should be banned

But they will know from past seasons? They will know from cup games? Funny though, it's the same people who whinge about everything. You clearly do agree with the prices as you have bought one, that's how it goes isn't it? If you go you are supporting everything they do?absolutely nothing. i told you before my post was not said with any malice and i meant that. i think people who already have cheap tickets should steer clear of a thread like this as they cant understand what its like to buy matchday tickets at 22 quid this season.
I know, it was tongue in cheek sirEpitome!
Deserve it, heroes!*Got to be honest, still put out by the fact that the scabs (just for Nick and Torchy) get cheaper Ricoh tickets.

has anyone EVER paid £45 to get into Alton Towers ?
There are loads of products, places that do BOGOF. I have been at least 20 times and NEVER paid full price ?

Ah, but we've not put as much money into the pockets of an evil hedge fund as some others have.

Ticket prices will settle one day unfortunately the actions of Man City Chelsea Man Utd are creating a false pull upwards.
Really average prem should be 30 quid
Championship 20 quid
League one 15
League two 10
IMO.
What about an all access tour to Cody McDonalds rectum?

Nobody was mentioning cost when shouting about us being in Northampton but it seems to be the next cool thing to be angry about and the next excuse not to go after being so hurt that we moved away. That seems to be your normal quote these days for anyone that has a different opinion to yourself.
Saying that we would get higher attendances if the prices were lower isn't moaning. It is stating a fact. The hard part is working out at what price would bring in more punters and more money. But yes the usual suspects start having a go at those who say so. And if you say anything back you are moaning and whinging. And those having a go at those with what most see as a valid point are not moaning and whinging?
So a walk up price for Alton Towers is £45. Walk up price for us £24. Alton towers 8 hours. Us less than 2. Alton towers about £5.50 an hour. Us £12 an hour? Yet it is OK to use them to compare ticket prices as you pay more to get in. But I see the Alton Towers price as too expensive as you spend most of the day in a queue. I take my family to Drayton Manor. It normally costs around £60 for two adults and three kids depending on what discounts I can find online. The last time I searched I found that if you have Tesco clubcard vouchers you get a free ticket for each £8.50 worth of vouchers. So if you shop at Tesco's you can get in for free. Free is goodThe wife has one as the first place you come to as you get off our island is Tesco's. We also have a Tesco's express near where we live. And she never uses the vouchers she gets. Even better is that the queues are rarely longer than ten minutes. And the kids love the zoo. Been going for many years. You used to pay to go to the zoo and then either pay for the rides as you went on them or got a wristband. It has always been value for money so they have always got my custom.
Value for money should be the buzzwords. If people think that they are getting value for money they will return. If they think that it is expensive they might occasionally go. But they won't go as much as their available time will allow. Alton Towers to me is expensive and if you want to get past the queues you have to pay extra. They never get my custom. Blackpool pleasure beach is the same. I can see Blackpool from where I live although it takes well over an hour to get there. They charge too much to spend the day in a queue so they never get my custom. But if I did go there I would save time and money in getting there. It is all down to value for money.
Right that is the end of my moaning and whinging for now. Time to get rid of more of the wife's vouchers to get tickets for Drayton Manor

Why haven’t you reduced ticket prices for the Yeovil match?
Under Football League rules, we are only allowed to run a fixed number of promotions per season
The ticket prices in Northampton were set low to subsidise the 70 mile trip travel costs. We need to stop harping on about them.

I will be there on sat. This thread was mealy to point out yet another stupid FL rule.
