Anyreason my thread earlier about the same subject was moved?
On the subject of tickets, let's just say I wanted to go to the Shrewsbury game... Where the fuck do I buy a ticket from?
I can't see any info anywhere. No prices or events on either Ticketmaster of the CCFC website...

Pretty much!
Sit in the cheaper area instead...
I agree with all the comments, this move to Ticket Master could be disastrous for the club. Surely even a basic analysis of how many people paid on the gate last season (and did so by their choice as you could buy matchday tickets from the ticket office) would demonstrate that there is demand for POTG tickets that must be met.
If some form of electronic card is required, why not give them to people on the gates to sell to people with tonight's match already credited? The people can register their actual details at a later date online.
We've had people banging on for ages about how shit our ticketing is and how brilliant Wasps' is. Now we're using the same system as Wasps its suddenly gone from being brilliant to total rubbish!I agree with all the comments, this move to Ticket Master could be disastrous for the club.
Maybe, but the average price of a ticket does not make it any easier for a lot of fans, myself included.
That's the thing, people might argue that the prices are competitive, but the competitive prices are not friendly to someone trying to save for a house while currently paying every bill under the sun. £25 for League 1 football?
Add on £10 for car parking and it just starts to get silly.
Would have got a season ticket, but was going to wait until later. I haven't seen enough transfer activity to warrant me parting with that much money. This year though, they say you cannot buy one after the first home game.
Pay on the gate being removed as well, all these factors combined will contribute to lower attendances i'm sure. They have really fucked up this season.

exactly. 25 is a rip off i dont care how it compares to other clubs
They're making a good job of removing opportunity for people to attend games at the moment. The car park price may be out of their hands, so be it, but when you live outside of walking distance to public transport options driving is the only way an £10 to park for 2 hours is not justifiable. And you're obviously not allowed to park anywhere within a 2 mile radius either.
They are also losing the ability for people who have circumstances preventing them from choosing to go on match day. For whatever reason, financial, child care etc, many people have to make that choice on match day. So no pay-on-the-gate is a farce. Queuing for the ticket office means arriving so much earlier and that will stop people attending. That and £25 for a league 1 game, with these players, is extortionate. Regardless of other teams prices, that's terrible and simply too expensive. I personally cannot justify that for a match day ticket, period.
Not having a continuing season ticket after game 1, especially given the lack of players we have to fill a squad, is also going to lose fans. People are unwilling to commit a large amount of money to a club that has yet to put together a bare bones team.
Currently the people making the decisions are doing a great job of shooting themselves in the foot, the attendances will suffer as a result. Time to choose some away days this season I think.
think 25 is most. for central blocksIt's £27 if you want block 19 isn't it?
With the pay monthly a ST worked out at about £35 a month so wasn't too bad compared to a lump sum when saving.
As for the car park, don't park at the Ricoh.
I have a mate who makes it difficult, a matchday to him he needs to work out the cost for a taxi, 6 or 7 pints, match ticket, food at halftime and £50 for the casino. So matchday to him is at least £100.
To me (if he doesn't come) is usually the ticket prices and a drink if an emergency. Then go to one stop and buy some sweets or bottle of drinks on the way in.
Even so, he is adamant he cant come to a game unless he has £100 or so spare. Fiver a ticket he was all over it, but still spent shit loads on drink and food.

Park over the road for a fiver, there are loads of other car parks around
If they have a decent Ticket Office setup, the queues should be manageable and not much off the cash turnstyles (I remember waiting for 35 minutes for a cash turnstyle once as I got there late). Hopefully they will have 4 or 5 people who can get tickets out quickly so it doesn't take much time at all.
Agree about season ticket, hopefully their match packages will replace it.
They'll either be waiting at the ticket office if they were never posted (how late did you book?) or if they've been lost in the post they'll issue you duplicates.Who do you call if your tickets haven't turned up for tonight's game in the post? No contact number on the booking confirmation that came by email. I'm sort of assuming that if I go to the ticket office tonight my tickets will be waiting for me as long as I produce my booking confirmation. But again no details on the confirmation. It doesn't even confirm that they will be posted, collection only or follow this link to print off e tickets.

22 corner ones
Which game took you 35 minutes to get in on cash turnstile? I've always found it really quick even when arriving late.
