So it is #bringcityhomeandgivefreetickets ?

People say sisu change the goal posts a lot.

Looks that way. A ticket price of around £15 is similar to that charged by the likes of Boreham Wood.

Will the tickets be available online on Friday? - Just seen it on ccfc.co.uk so dw :)

Really don't understand those that go and queue for tickets when booking online is so much easier and quicker.

Furthermore, do people book time off work to queue up at the store?

Also you have until end of September to get your old Ricoh season ticket position.
Those getting them in general sale will be after the gaps and new blocks.

People are now moaning tickets are too expensive aren't they? Love a whinge.

Not me.
I would prefer they grab the moment and get new season ticket holders by selling at Sixfields prices.
A lot of us will just pay whatever for our old positions.
There's mixed loyalties also in respect of SISU owe us for what they did but if the money goes to the team it's okay with me.
I still don't trust them so I'll pay by credit card just in case they default.

So no one actually said that they wanted free tickets you just made that up so you could have a whinge about them.

Big of you to admit it, glad we cleared that up.

Not really, I'll be in the queue to get a season as soon as they are on sale. I'll be happy as larry ;) well until the final whistle of most games when I'll be annoyed.

Hows that whinging you silly man ?
Sisu still need to build bridges but obviously you've been happy all along !!
Without explanation of their Ricoh decisions it appears there mismanagement continues.
What happened to fans consultations?

Post something sensible for once so we can see where you stand.
Your continuous attack of people's comments is becoming tiresome and diverts the real issues.

I agree, they should have kept them the same price. I don't know how viable it would have been with the new costs but for pr it would have been great.

They haven't though and are still reasonably priced and with the massive calls to bring us home you would think they would be getting snapped up.

It makes sense to work out payment schemes also as people haven't had chance to save.

Block 20 is a big purchase in one payment. I haven't budgeted for it, I will buy it but IMHO others will struggle.

I think they have also changed the seating plan to stop people buying family zone season tickets/ tickets and then moving to other seats as now you won't be able to walk around the concourse with the closure of the north stand

I am raiding my 10 year old daughter's earnings. :) Will be able to buy one straight out then. Without that I would struggle.

I agree with this, the club have to try their best to accommodate those who wanted to pay monthly.

The problem probably is monthly payment schemes are handled by separate finance companies normally so they take the risk.

I assume getting the arrangement in place was not possible given the timescale.

If people wanted monthly payment methods they could make their own arrangements.

I assume that they charge CCFC for operating the facility. Ccfc would need to balance those costs against losing season tickets.

If you've already got a credit card why not sign up for one with a zero interest balance transfer. Pay with existing and transfer the balance (there is an arrangement fee).

Exactly - the payment fee is very low.

Alternatively Virgin or Halifax offer 0% for 6 months and MNBA for 13 months so just get a new card buy the ticket on it and pay back every month - the MNBA deal means £24 a month.

There is no risk, no need to use a separate company, worst case scenario, person doesn't pay monthly fee, club revokes season ticket, no loss to the club. This is better all around I don't want to see an external company being paid by the club hunting down a city fan who lost their job and now can't afford the season ticket running up hundreds of pounds of fees to be paid to the scummy finance company.

They have always been with a finance company to my knowledge. It would be very rare to do it as described. As they are books the customer could just not return the book and the club would have to persue the client.

Anyway as stated above get a credit card and spread the costs - it's no different.

It's been a finance company for a few years as far as I recall. I don't think it has been the same company the whole time, but has been external.

It has to be really. It would never be a case of just allowing tickets to be handed back, the club would want the full amount returned so that liability needs to be past to a third party to take the risk.

If the club were to offer any sort of credit facility they would need to have a Consumer Credit Licence. I know they used to have one, but IIRC it was in the name of the company that was liquidated. Maybe the current company doesn't have one.

It certainly makes sense to buy season tickets on a credit card. We shall be doing so. If, just suppose, the club went bust, then you are protected by s75 of the Consumer Credit Act and the card company would have to refund your money.

I wasn't suggesting that you were wrong in that they normally use an external company, I was saying it's not necessary. Honestly I think a pay by the month subscription (cancelable at any time) to going to the football is a great idea and would increase attendances. It's harder using a book system of course but we had a perfectly functional electronic system it's a shame if thats another thing they've fucked up by the unnecessary trip to northampton.

Sticking it on a credit card adds significantly to the cost of the ticket especially as those people who need to spread the financial cost are less likely to be able to get a 0% one. I have no need to spread the cost but it's in the clubs best interest to make it as easy as possible for people as that brings in more fans and creates more good will (which is currently slightly out of its abysmal all time low)
