Chance to earn £300 million should be an incentive to maximumise the probability. Or tax avoidance is the ambition

Yeah but we’re all idiots. This is their job. I’ve said it before but the fact the ground is 16 years old and we don’t have a folder marked “sell out Football game” somewhere is ridiculous.

Does make you wonder how they can budget for a season's income when they can't even predict the attendance for the clubs biggest game in decades

I was at that game was equivalent to the Yeovil 2-6 maybe worse we were 11 points clear at the top (2 points a win in those days) and suffered a big slump after eventually scraping promotion with a last match win against Colchester.

Why the plus 1 for season ticket holders? I don't understand this logic. It has caused a lot of loyal fans to miss out

It does really, I know it's an exceptional circumstance but imagine writing off £75k every home game, it's £2m a year.

No, 75K is the TOTAL gate receipts for this game. The difference is around 6K less extra costs for policing etc for selling to Boro. You've misunderstood what I said.

Not making much money from the game though, the difference is pennies.

Average ticket price once you allow for lots of concessions is, say, £26. 28K gate = £728K, less VAT is £606K. We get 1/8th of that = total gate receipts of £75K. The difference if we were to sell the extra 2.5K tickets to Boro would barely cover the cost of extra stewarding/policing.

Other reasons for selling to tickets to them, but financially it makes no difference.

Why do we only get 1/8 of it? Does the rest go to the EFL or something?

We get 1/8th of the game at the CBS, but also get the same share from Riverside game, SOL and Kenilworth Road. The other 50% goes to the EFL. Overall, playoffs probably worth about 300K to us, but our game specifically only generates us about £75,000

1) that's exactly what GPE was saying
2) no I wasn't, I've not been a member of a supporters club since L1 when tbh there was no issue with their tickets. What I did was defend their right to get them, I still would. They've consistently brought lots to many games when we've not sold out and as long as the members going are ST holders I have no issue with them continuing. Where I git narky was people only having a pop at L&W when southam and N&B have lots more. For some reason they're given more grief, I think just because Juggy used to run it and some habve an agenda against him. When we were in L2 he started it and it was much needed then.

I said nothing of the sort.
You said this;
“Fook me! So you think people with season tickets should be behind people with more points for a fekkin home game?”
No one is saying that. What they are saying is there should have been a later phase for points holders.

I'm really trying not to criticise here, some things are out of the club's control, however updating supporters is very much in their control, yet almost complete radio silence.

The silence/uncertainty is where I question the competency.

The decision on whether those blocks can be opened or not should’ve been made weeks ago.
Why have they left it until now?

1/8 to each of the play off teams - 50% to the EFL
the final is 1/4 to each of the teams

You’d have thought at a very minimum it would have been discussed immediately after the Birmingham game, to have discussions of what we can open today is shambolic.

Think the cumulative attendance total of our semi final 2 legs will be more than or at least = too Sun/luton.

In the hospitality area it only gives an option for adult tickets, I would like to take my daughter too though. So under 18s are not allowed in this area?

Website says "For children under 12 years, the dress code is relaxed", so would seem to be fine, although looks like tickets are full price:

NEWS: Hospitality available to book for Play-Off Semi-Final

Hospitality is now available to book for Sunday's Play-Off Semi-Final against Middlesbrough.

I rang numerous times for 10 days about getting my late friend in the Reading tribute match.
No answer at all, I tried every menu option and left voicemails. Sent email to the advertised email for the tribute.

My late friend wasn't included.

Admin is a shambles, not fit for league 4 let alone a level 2 club.

I was able to get a ticket for Salfird playoffs and totally straightforward and reliable.

Thankfully a friend got me a ticket for Sunday through crazy two tickets for season ticket strategy.

Absolutely not season tickets plus 1 , that is where the anomaly is …. ( That opens up the possibility of non supporters attaining thousands of tickets plus unscrupulous ST holders trying to sell on their spare for profit )
Season ticket holders and corporate holders first. To claim their own ST seats
Over 750 pts
Over 150 pts
General sale
Something of that ilk.
Just like to point out I cannot get to this home match anyway but feel aggrieved for many proper supporters who’ve done as much as they can over the last few years.

I need ro stress how poor our club is to ring .. sometimes we have to ring clubs to arrange disabled tickets for parking at stadiums and coventry are the only club I can think of that don't ever answer their phone. It all needs looking at the whole system we have In place is very amateur
