And before it's said: What do I recommend?

F knows that's what. No point deluding ourselves though after 12 games and believing it will improve.

I don't particular think he is doing well, but who do you suggest we replace him with?!

I posted at the same time as your question. The answer is I don't know, but the negatives outweigh the positives when it comes to SP and I can't keep deluding myself with this guy.

We're 1 point from relegation as it stands, with HIS team and HIS insistent formation.

Regardless of todays result , he seriously has to consider a plan B

1 goal back, will it change our season?

It seems I'm jumping on a bandwagon but I'm not, the writing is on the wall as i have already said.

Head up arse yet again for another weekend..

No I don't agree he should go yet however I do think he needs to swallow some pride and sack of this 3-5-2 business it's league one not the World Cup or champions league!

I was eleven in 87

I think we should sack Thomas off for a bit.
When he first came into the team a few years back I was excited by the potential of him, but over the years all he has proved is that he is a fantastic athlete but with absolutely no end product in footballing terms.
I cannot remember the last time he actually did anything worth remembering??

Yep, get rid of Pressley so you can be slagging off the new man in a matter of months. The same cycle over and over again.

I don't disagree that first half we didn't look good at all, but second half I thought we could have got something, we had 4 missing, key players in Webster, Reda, Nouble and Swanson, we barely have any finance to improve our squad and all the turmoil off the field can not be a great confidence boost.. I would not sack Pressley, give him time.

3-5-2 can work at this level its what swindon are using but we dont have the players to play it and we defiantly cant play it without Reda in the back line to tidy up with the wingers dont get back in time.

He's had 18 months and assembled the most one dimensional squads I have ever seen, doesn't have a clue about tactics with his 5-3-2.

There were signs last season that he was losing the plot when he was playing Willis, Clarke and Seaborne ahead of Adams at LB and other nuts stuff he done.

I have no faith in the man, we will be in the bottom 4 after Bristol, Oldham, Peterborough and Leyton Orient. He should go

Fair enough, but should we really be 2 nil against the worst side in the league before we begin to turn up?

Not good enough to just say we improved in the second half. Damage was already done by then.

Coleman, dowie, bothroyd, thorn, Pressley, mourinho, it doesn't matter

Agree; because there isn't much anyone could do with this team. I realise that SP was brought in to balance the books, but I began to lose faith in him when he said, the other week, that this was a better team than last season, which was clearly b@llocks. Ultimately, however, it's down to money, and it's clear that FPP or otherwise, SISU have decided that they are prepared to let the club hang.

With a new 4 Year deal not recently signed I don't think anyone will be seeing Pressley getting the boot anytime soon..

This Crewe team will finish bottom of the league imo, to say we could have got something as a defence just about sums it up.

Keep arguing a case for him...

The writing is on the wall.

In his defence, losing Callum Wilson has really, really hit us hard. I also like the way he has promoted youth and how they are getting their chances.

He does seem very stubborn though and also seems most reluctant to change a system that clearly isn't working at the moment.

He does also appear to be at different games to us at times, judging by his post match interviews.

Don't think anyone is happy with him at the moment, but I am not convinced that sacking him is the right answer.

Seems all a bit knee jerk. I am very much in the camp of last season's players (Wilson, Moussa, Baker, Murphy) being better than what we have now.

Can't just blame Pressley.

I know that , we all know that otis , but thats what teams at this level have to deal with , they lose the better players to teams in higher divisions , but he has to replace him as best as he can , and his transfer dealings have been questionable at best

I'm not calling for his head at all... but he really needs to start looking at his tactics.

I'm all for the idea of keeping hold of the ball and neat passing - but we have fuck all penetration.

But wasn't it Pressleys choice to freeze Baker out?
He must live by his decisions and his stubbiness to change his tactics.
