Hey Nomark..... I've never once compared supporting our football club to someone suffering domestic abuse.....I HAVE compared paying good money to SISU for fuck all in return to domestic abuse however. Show me where CCFC(The Football Club) benefits from you paying money to SISU? Every step they've taken has slowly strangled the life out of CCFC. Sell Wilson, Clarke, for nearly £3.5m and allow Waggot(Not SP as has been proven with the Proschwitz signing) to bring in shit players on a fraction of wages, whilst feeding the Cayman Is bank.....and thick fucks like you can't see it? As for Otis...He knows exactly what I'm saying and there was no animosity in my post towards him, it was the idea behind what he said that I called deluded.

You neatly underline covmark's point.

Where is your evidence for " whilst feeding the Cayman Is bank " ?

Indeed.

A very last chance after the last very last chance, and maybe get another final, final chance next season after all.

No, not at all.

I think you are missing the point. I am talking of there being an increase in attendances next season due to us all backing the team. The last few years have seen attendances drop and drop quite consistently.

How on earth is that the same thing?

I accept it's just a notion, but I am saying if City fans came out in force next season and decided to buy season tickets on the back of a board statement that the manager will be backed to a substantial degree and then it didn't happen, I do think there would be real reaction to that.

I am talking about an increase in attendances not the last however many years of attendances decreasing.

Your posts are usually spot on Otis, but this one is so deluded, I think you've lost the plot!.....You're saying SISU have given me a right beating for the last 7 years but I'll take the chance they're not going to kick me in the face and kill me this time. It should be they that invests in the manager and team to prove to us they are really going to try this time. You sound like the abused wife on Jeremy Kyle..."I'll wait and seeif he kills me the next time before leaving him.....You're wrong in so many ways mate :((((

Something has to happen. We all get now that Sisu are bad owners and that we have been screwed left right and centre. If we just carry on the way we are however, crowds will just dwindle further and we will just be left to rot away in nowhere land in the lower reaches of League One.

I'm talking about a one off situation here, where we put the past behind us and back the team with our money as much as we can and see if the owners will back words with actions and give the manager a really good chance of promotion..

Plus, I'm not being funny here, but is our club worth £300 to you? I would gladly give the club £300 if I thought it would change our fortunes.

No, it's fine. No offence taken at all. I know what you meant. ;)

I think you are missing the point.

Not really.

You're making an arbitrary decision to give them one last chance this season, but not next.

Why the hell should next season be the time for a collective boycott? What makes that any better than the past few seasons, or the few seasons to com?

It's nonsense.

I haven't read the thread....are people seriously suggesting we boycott next season?

I think it's to delay purchasing season tickets until Sisu give us some commitment for next season.
However from experience the club always sell our best players after the season ticket reductions have finished, so how long do you delay.

Yes, but only from the "usuals".

Once again Nomark never makes posts of any worth, only looking for the chance to attack my posts. Fuck all wrong with my analogy. would you rather me say "Carry on butt fucking all CCFC fans, we're all gullible enough a la Nomark to let you do it" Ya thick c**t.

For one so sensitive about abuse and name calling, the speed you've resorted to witty username changes and c**t calling is staggering.

They haven't got anybody to sell this time (perhaps, Maddison). I think it's more about showing their intentions re: retaining Mowbray / quality of player recruitment. Having said that, a player can be 'great' before he has kicked a ball (Tudgay) and a 'nobody' (Jim O'Brien) when we know little about them. Frankly, the early retention of Mowbray ought to be the biggest positive signal of intent IMHO?

I'm going to wait until they show their intentions. Mowbray on a contract will be a good start. If that doesn't happen, and it can be called an excuse all day, I won't be renewing.

I do think you are missing the point entirely. NW.

Put all other seasons aside. I am talking about a one-off action. For everyone to put their hatred and disdain behind them for one single season, just to see if the owners will back the club.

And I say a one-off, cause we both know damn well that if the club wouldn't back the manager for the season there is no way on god's earth that we could convince any supporter to do the same thing again for another season.

It is not a nonsense at all. I'm really sorry you see it that way. I am merely saying let's all get together and try and really back the club for one season. Put the money up in season ticket sales and see if the owners put their money where their mouth is and back the manager.

As it stands at the moment we are giving the owners every reason not to back the club, because our attendances are dwindling to very low levels.

Because Sisu are shit etc, let's talk about that again. It's fun.
The point which I was trying to make was that our owners track record of supporting the Manager was less than impressive so what makes anyone think that this summer will be any different.

"our attendances are dwindling to very low levels." And why is that Otis?

No, I know.

Trouble is, we have an impasse and many fans simply will not return, yet at the same time many fans are expecting us to be challenging for promotion.

Sometimes you just have to put the past behind you to move forwards.

Do I like sisu? No. Do I love my club? yes.

I think we just need to try and look at what is the best for the club. As Sisu are our owners and apparently aren't going anywhere real soon, we need to have season of positivity.

Best way to have a good season is to put bums on seats.

So what we're saying is, we all hold back on buying our ST's until Sisu sign Mowbray and give him a load of cash to spend?

The term "backing him" is a bit arbitrary, we're in league one, we're gonna sign people we've never heard of or know little about.

Perhaps we should all boycott and wait until we've played 5-10 games, so we can judge whether he has been backed or not? If the team are doing well, he's been backed we can then all start attending games again.

It probably won't. But then again it hasn't in the forty odd years I've been going. Doesn't stop me buying my ST, going up and hoping and dreaming that THIS is THE season.

If you don't get that then great, make your own decision. But you, RP and all the others can stick your "not going to buy a season ticket" nonsense. Leave others to choose what they want to do. Well, not in the case of RP as he doesn't buy one anyway.

And I know in years to come you, him and loads of others will be exactly the same with our next owners. "I'm not going until...", "I would go but..". etc, etc

Not me, stu. I am saying let's all go out and buy season tickets. Most people seem to have faith in Mowbray. Let's put everything to one side and back the team in force next season.

Full respect to you, that was me. The fire isn't there for me anymore. It's really as simple as that.

Same to you, H. At least you respect what others do and feel. People like the OP and others on here don't.

It seems that for some of our fans, support is conditional. If this happens, or that happens, I'll turn up. I guess it's understandable given the events of the last so many years. However, to me, the best way for fans to help improve things, is to turn up and support the team, to me, support for players in a sky Blue shirt is not conditional.

Our football club has become self sufficient. It is the way that football is going with the FFP rules. So as said earlier in the thread don't preach on not buying a ST if you want to complain about the quality of the squad that the income allows TM to have.
