Time's Up (7 Viewers)

The problem is that what will happen is we sack Robins, get a new guy in, get a temporary boost, then fall away, then the same thing with that guy next year, and get stuck in a rut again like we were prior to the league 1 days.
This is my fear. A lot of people talk like we get rid of Robins, someone comes in and we're immediately play off contenders.

I remember well the managerial merry go round as every appointment brought nothing but disappointment and calls for another new manager a few months later.

Sadly I do think his time is up. There a no signs that we can put together a good run. There seems to be a severe lack of communication between Robins, the coaching staff and the players. Robin’s isn’t instructing the players to play shit.

The worrying thing is we have no leaders or characters in the team to drag us out of this mess. The players aren’t following instructions, that’s plain to see. You can’t coach heart and bravery into these soft cunts unfortunately

It's a really gutless reason to keep someone though. We're heading for disaster, people need to wake up.

Not sure I would say it's gutless. if we're making changes I want the odds to be stacked in our favour that we're making a change that will improve things in the long term and also that we're addressing the actual problem rather than looking to be seen to be doing something by replacing the figure head.

Stood by Robins every inch of the way, but the lack of shots on target is quite scandalous really isn't it.

We have all that firepower in the team, yet still barely get a shot on target.

Something has to change. Don't want to see him go, but we can't carry on like this.

I can't hammer Robbins today, he changed the formation and two up front, tired something different which is what many have called for. The problem was as you say the shots on target, is that down to him and something he should be fixing in training ... or is it other coaches? Different beast when in a game, the intensity and pressure can't really be replicated in training, players miss chances and it's their ability to finish that is the issue.

Mistake to take Norman off I guess but BTA usually busts a gut on the press and Haji actually put it in the net, so I think he needed to try both in a front 2 hence the double change. It's finite what if decisions unfortunately, but at least there was a bit more effort there today, if not quality.

I don't agree , but I'm done arguing with supporters about it .

Fact is we've been bullshitted out of a point by a shit decision again .

What will be will be , totally deflated and feel incredibly sorry for robins

I agree. But what’s the point of saying it because the tidal wave of ‘robins out’ is too much to go up against at the minute.

It may well not be george boeteng , it's totally a guess I just can't see doug A: paying proper money for a proper gaffer and B: getting it right

I think we'd spend a fortune and still end up with the wrong choice. Had the chance of a lifetime with the money we had and we absolutely blew it on a bunch of bottlers as they smile and say good morning to the staff on there way in every morning.

I can understand the point you're making but we were really poor today, if we'd have got an equaliser it'd have masked another abysmal performance

Exactly.

Although robins thinks we played well.

It's clutching at straws.

Tom we've seen this before , fans begging for Mowbray to go after hold on ... 10 games and we went down
You know I like you as a poster mate and I do admire your loyalty but we'll have to agree to disagree. I think he's finished, he's showing nothing to convince he can turn it around and frankly some of his decisions this season have been totally bizarre.

I don't think it was abysmal if I'm honest but it's your opinion so if that's how you saw it then fair enough
The first half was promising in some respects. Second half reverted to type and yet again we finish with one shot on target.

Get rid and what happens next. I can’t see King paying what’s needed for a manager like the ones we’d want, it would most likely be Boateng, and I’d venture to suggest we really would be fucked then, not even the hope we have now driven by the fact Robins has turned it around before.

People are just making up that it would be boeteng though aren't they?

"Robins has turned it around before". Some would still be saying that bottom of the league in march.

All well and good saying sack Robins but much like when we appointed Venus there isn’t an obvious replacement for Robins.
That’s my biggest worry. But what can you do if the current setup isn’t working either? Glad it’s not me making the decision!

Frustrating when we can't hit the target from 2 easy chances but we move
Into the bottom 3 which is where we’ll stay without something significant changing. Pity we can’t sack off half the squad as they deserve just the same flak as MR.

We spend money on players but we wouldn’t on a manager? A team that spends money on players … so do we not think managers would be queuing out the door to come here?
