I can see why Doug might hold off, I know it'll go down really badly with a large percentage if he does sack Robins.
Seen more people saying Doug out than Robins out and honestly I just don't get it, it's like people will look to anyone to blame other than the manager.

Because Robins hasn’t gone from the best manager of my lifetime to this for no reason. And whether Viveash had to go or not, what’s replaced him and Lawrence has been pure garbage. Even the rumoured assistant was uninspiring. And when Robins goes that’s it. The last of the stuff that made us what we’ve been following the last seven years. And I don’t think anyone has any faith in King, who has walked into the biggest transfer kitty this club has ever seen combined with one of the best coaching setups the club has had and fucked it one obvious noob to the sport decision after another.

Robins might need to go. But I dread what comes next. And if it’s not going to be shite it’s going to have to be without Doug sticking his nose in because that never works.

I hope so but his track record as a football club owner isn’t very good. Surely no one was advising him revoking JSB tickets if they didn’t attend enough games was a good idea.

We’ve had a number of very poor performances this year, but I do not put todays in that category. We were in the game, made plenty of chances and for large parts were reasonably tight at the back. However, squandering a number of good chances along with falling asleep at the back and letting in yet another soft goal turns what could have been a spring board to a bed wetting experience.

TBH I’m most concerned about the number of soft goals we’ve let in, if we can’t keep a clean sheet it is so much harder to get anything out of the game. We’re getting in good positions up front but just don’t have any clinical finishers at the moment. I do feel this will come over the next few weeks.

As to defence I think we look better with 3 central defenders, but might take a few games to bed in and get a better understanding between them. It’s a shame MVE looked a little off today, perhaps he also needs a game or two to get back to his best in a 5-3-2?

I certainly do not think anyone should be screaming for Robins out yet. The margins between win and loose were small today, we came off on the wrong side, if goal not disallowed and just one of our shots on goal had been better we would be having a different talk tonight.

Maybe we could do worse than to sack off the recruitment team that brought us the League 1 dream team and reinstate the one that brought in actual rough diamonds.

As I said make all the excuses you want, he has been great but if he takes us back to League 1 with a team that cost over £40 million he's fucked it hasn't he. It's not even clear what he's trying to do right now, it looks like the throw shit at the wall and hope it sticks strategy.
Also it's weird to pretend like Robins has no say on the players coming in. Kitching for example, who people seem to have it in for, was very much a Robins signing.

I couldnt care less, I know it will turn around it always does, same thing every year
Being as your're a clairvoyant Mr Robins give me lottery numbers for the midweek draw. There are many managers who ending up getting religated and out of a job thinking the same thing.
It will, same bedwetters every year having the same reactions at the same stuff happening just with less excuses as to why its happening (pitch debacle, training ground)
I'm not of "same bedwetters" in fact I said Robins should stay but his inablity to make REAL changes when needed leave me have doughts

With investment in Jan (2 loans, maybe 1 perm) then yeah. This is the same team (- O’hare) that made it to the FA cup Semi’s and up until then was top 6
Not many teams get in top six with less than 75 points so we need to average over 1.86 points a game from now till the end(lord knows what it will be in Janurary),current average 0.8.I think not
None of them will be any better than MR, and there wont be hundreds of serious candidates applying, probably maximum 5
Good job Derrick Robins didn't think that in 1959 when he appointed JH, Billy Frith had a better points average than MR.
There is no room for sentiment in football as in most walks of life.
You also mention somewhere on here about him having backroom problem. Is it just rumour or are you ITK because things are wrong bigtime.

No offence, but I'd say this is utter bollocks.
King has shown that he doesn't take advice
And him being a succesful businessman means fuck all, far better than him have failed in football.

Im on the fence. Fundamentally I believe in stability and I believe in Robins being able to get it right. But it’s so dire and I worry the damage has already been done with the poor transfer policy and poor coaching selection, neither of which will be fixed.

It’s all so shit and I think it goes deeper than the manager. Maybe that denial that it’s all over, I just don’t have any faith in what comes next.

Why do you think he’d want robins out ? got him to a play off final, he wanted a cup run and he got him a great cup run, guessing there were prob a few words said between them over transfers, there’s no way robins wanted to start the season with that midfield or defence, I’m sure there was an interview with king where he said he’d give robins everything he needed to get us to where we want to be ? that doesn’t sound like an owner trying to force the manager out ?
Except it hasn't turned out that way, has it?

My main hope is that he is surrounding himself with people he trusts and wants to work with. Of all the meaningful staff here at the point of takeover, only Robins remains. Sad that it may be the end of our most successful manager of modern times, but if it means King is satisfied then so be it.

Agree with the general point that being a successful businessman means jack shit when it comes to running a football club.

Honestly fuck off the lot of you

I’ve not been to Colchester and Wycombe on cold midweek nights for some twat who couldn’t be arsed to go when we were shit to slag the man who brought us back from there off

Ah he can have a job for life then.

I couldn’t care less.. Mark Robins will turn it round, I’m confident of it

A load of entitled twats who only jumped on the bandwagon when we won a few games will never make me change my mind either

My opinion of the whole experience of watching Coventry City FC and it’s fanbase is about as low as it gets right now, I’d take being back to 10,000 crowds and away ends where you can buy on the day of the game in a heartbeat right now cause if you want my opinion the majority of our fans are self entitled, arrogant c*nts

I remember my first beer.

They pick and choose when to turn in a performance. I’ve got little time for most of them to be honest, you’ve got a manager up to his neck in the brown stuff while also dealing with personal problems and you turn in some of the worst games of his entire spell in charge?

Time for them to step up for more than just a photo shoot.
