why is it?

we’ve been here before when players get singled out, it turns toxic- it doesn’t get us anywhere and doesn’t help. All it does is give some people the excuse they need to start ranting & raving.
Publicly saying your players are bewildered and can’t handle criticism? Seems strange to me.

I said it before, even in previous poor starts Robins always seemed certain that things would improve and didn’t get bogged down in stuff like fan criticism. That feels different this year.

I don't want him gone, but on the current trajectory he is on borrowed time. I can also understand anyone that does want a change, and this condescending attitude towards those that do is a bit bizarre. We're all entitled to an opinion and at the moment things are shite.

Robins is making errors certainly, but for me it's still the players that should be getting the brunt of the criticism, and it seems like a lot of it is going disproportionately towards just about everything else.

I would give him until after January and let him do whatever is necessary in the winter transfer market to make some changes. I wouldn't be opposed to letting some bigger names go that haven't been performing in order to recruit some strength and balance in the right places.
Agree. It's almost that since many of the players cost a lot of money (in CCFC terms) then they can't be the problem and it must therefore be Robins.

maybe he wants to protect them, as he senses the way things are going. Theres nothing wrong with that.

How’s that protecting them? It’s the opposite.
To be fair he’s never had a squad this young before. It’s going to be new ground for him to make sure there heads don’t drop as it already has. When they get some confidence in them they will be up there with anyone in this league. Like Blackburn once the first goal went in, we went from strength to strength

It is acceptable. After what we'd been through, some big performances in the cup and v Leeds/Leicester, we were to coin a phrase on the beach early. Last season was great for lots of reasons and we simply ran out if steam.
So the players were cheating the fans then who payed money to go to home and away games as they were not giving their all? 🤔

Both of them hopefully. Those 2 and Bidwell I see as the only leaders in the squad really. Eccles possibly but not much else in their to fight.
If Eccles had any balls or fight in him he would have took the 2nd yellow against Sheff Wed when he had the chance. Very weak mentality but he’s not alone in that instance.

More distortion of what people are actually saying
Is it? A bit like players who want the manager sacked or don’t want to play for him. Does it not matter about the fans who have payed £30/40 for a ticket to come and watch them not put in maximum effort which should be the bare minimum?

exhausted, shattered, nothing left in the tank. Not the same as “cheating”

I remember clearly last season it was pretty well accepted that we were burned out, even on here. And yet now, it’s been twisted into them “cheating”.

Has happened at almost every other club in similar situations. It’s not “cheating”.

Exhausted, shattered, nothing in the tank but robins still didn't effectively utilise subs properly.

Again, O'Hare fatigued but put in for games he wasn't needed. Missed a game because of fatigue, week later he's playing a half against a non league team in a game we already had won.

See Allen this season dead on his feet against spurs and left on and then starts a few days later.

Running out of excuses if we don’t win tonight , at what point do we admit this squad isn’t good enough. feels like wev‘e got a squad who would play well with good players around them, struggling together, hopefully tonight changes that

I still think he has Saturday. 3 points to save his job.

He's clinging on to the ledge over the edge with the nail on his pinky right now though.

Nothing I can say thats not repeating. Not sure what Robins is upto this season but he's lost it.
He's hero worshipped atm but what is his legacy if he takes us down on the back on this spend? I think its best for all that a change is made now.

What's he lost?
He had an assistant.
He had experienced players.
He utilised loans.

All contributed to our success of the last 7 years.
But the fucking rapeseed salesman got giddy at the thought of flipping players for big bucks and ripped it all up because he thought he could make a fortune.

If anyone can prove to me that Robins is behind any of those decisions then on Saturday I'll start the Robins out chants myself, but it's obvious who's behind them

If this squad doesn't meet Robins' approval then he should resign

The fans think the players are brittle and weak, and the manager comes out and basically says they are right. It is all a bit weird at the moment.
They’ve done nothing to dispel this tonight that’s for sure. A weak as piss bunch of players and what will piss me off the most is if we go down, the worst offenders will be the first on the phone to their agents trying to leave.

The teams not much different to last season.
You are watching us right? You're watching Robins piss about with the line up/formation every week with no obvious plan. And what's the game plan exactly because I'll be fucked if I know.
I think its very weak when people suggest there's no one out there that could get better from this group.
End of the day I just want us to stay up now which is an extremely low bar, but sadly I think Robins takes us down.

I’m sorry but I do not agree at all. Whether you think he’s spent money on tosh, or this model of buying only younger players is wrong - fine.

But Doug thinking he can make a fortune … ??
