Juke out for up to £2m.
Nothing heading the other way other than another loanee - and this one has already been loaned out to one of our rivals, with no effect.
Are you getting the hang of this now?
SISU are on a selling spree and anything coming the other way looks more like a truly pathetic attempt to show some kind of interest in on-the-field matters.
A squad that desperately needs improving to save our status in this league (and avoid taking us back to where Jimmy Hill found us) is instead being further decimated. We all know it. Even Andy Thorn knows it.
They will happily take us down. Does that not make you angry?
I am expecting Save Our City to gather momentum now. If it doesn't now, then it never will. God help our once proud club.
Basically we're fucked.
For a long time now we've been hearing "we're doomed to relegation, no point sacking AT". So why get the knickers in a twist when a player is sold? Better than seeing him sold for a bag of beans in L1 or, worse, walking for nowt.
I guess people are pissed off as he is our top scorer and maybe just maybe people hoped that the club might try to stay up, by keeping the better players and bringing in one or two to try to fight relegation.
What is worse losing out on transfer fees or significant loss of revenue due to relegation?
You're missing my point a bit, Moff. I'm not saying that SISU's non-investment policy is correct, nor am I saying that people shouldn't be pissed off. What I am saying is that the apathy has been with the fans who have said "no point sacking AT, we're going down" - and have been saying as much since November. So why oh why suddenly get animated when a player is sold in a doomed season? If he walked in L2 for a lower price there would be similar outrage then.
The only way to stop them all being sold is for a decent take-over with somebody who has decent money.
Don't think that anybody is out there, otherwise they'd have bought the club before anybody decent being sold off.
Basically we're fecked.
Well, we'll all be happy when Hoff DEFINITELY takes the club over, won't we? Everybody on here has been saying since August that he'll be sold in January and they were right, so why is everyone so shocked?

As above Torchy, not a shock.
Sadly I think we expected it.
I guess there was a tiny hope somewhere that the owners of our club might have wanted to at least try to give us a chance of staying up - and after all, would Juke have been worth so much less in July with still a full year left on his contract?
I think SISU really do have to tell us what their strategy for the club is (did I hear someone laugh at the back?).
We currently look a total shambles.
Ive heard enough of the "I'm supporting the team" stuff.... How do you support the team? Your supporting SISU by giving them your money.
You can't support a club without supporting the owner.
Nothing will change at the club unfortunately Tommy. We will continue to be asset stripped by SISU as thats their line of business, they will continue to treat us like mushrooms as this is also one of their strategys. While they are at the helm any player that looks like they may be worth a few quid will continually be sold to meet proffit returns for their investment funds. They dont, have, and never will give a flying fuck about CCFC, we are not a club we are a fund in a portfolio of investments managed by Onye Igwe. They do not listen to anything or anyone that does not conform to their business plan and will only leave when a bid is made that lets them leave on their terms. I for one will continue to fight and protest where ever its possible, not because SISU will listen to fans, but because highlighting their poor business acumen will hurt them in the long run. As far as city is concerned at the moment bad publicity is good for us as it will hopefully speed up SISU,s departure. The next protest has to be a big one, we need to march on block to the ground with as many fans that are attending as possible. The management team are only attending the London supporters function as they think they will get an easy ride away from the city, perhaps some of the London boys could give us some spare tickets and and the adress so we can all turn up to voice our disgust at the way these leaches are running us into the ground. PUSB and keep the faith.

But what does it matter to the team how much we get for him. The more we sell him for means our grave robbing owners get it NOT the CCFC first team
Fucking joke of a club, I am actually embarressed to call myself a CCFC fan right now, and never in my life have I ever thought that, even when admin loomed last time.
So pissed off at this whole situation.
Sure, but that is almost certainly due to the lack of support. If the money from fans (support) dries up, then the losses escalate and we see more cost-cutting to plug the difference; but more cost-cutting means a poorer team, poorer results, less support, less money, etc. The cycle continues until we're a nothing of a club. We're only as significant as our support.

Address for the meeting is: CALTHORPE ARMS 252 GRAY’S INN ROAD, LONDON WC1X 8JR
The London function's been held annually since around 2008 (I think), but it's obviously an attempt to avoid the brunt of the flak they'd have holding it in Cov. You'll need to pay a tenner either at the door or to join the CCLSC (again £10), as well as e-mail in advance to get in; no tickets needed!

So where was the investment when there was 18-22 thousand almost weekly. The fans have stopped going due to all the false hopes they have been fed since these b*****ds took over, they have brought the empty stadium on themselfs:slap:
