Same. It's very sad. I'm desperate for him to do well.
Even if we lose the next two, sacking Robins will be more divisive thananything Doug has ever done.
If you think the fan base has been divided before, you've not seen anything yet. It will turn the club, the fanbase and the city upside down.
If results improved it wouldn’t
It would soon be forgotten if they came in and started winning. It would be a major gamble for King though and things could turn sour for him very quickly.Same. It's very sad. I'm desperate for him to do well.

I don’t think we would do either. That's true but someone could also come in and struggle early on.
It would be expensive for Doug to sack Robins. He's got a wage cap on players. I can't imagine him throwing money on a big name manager.
Whether he solved the conflict in the Middle East, or got you from league 2 to the championship there’s no avoiding 12 points from 48 is not good enough.
If something is working well and you make changes in an attempt to make things even better, but instead they get much worse, you alter what was changed and not what was working to begin with.
There's also no avoiding you're conflating 2 seasons!
But on the flip side we’re told that robins has been brilliant for 7 seasons, so we’re allowed to consider that but not point out we’ve been shit for 6 months? There's also no avoiding you're conflating 2 seasons!
yes but concurrent so it does hold reasonable weight.
Eh ? Fk me it's all ready been a long day ??If something is working well and you make changes in an attempt to make things even better, but instead they get much worse, you alter what was changed and not what was working to begin with.

It's something a lot are doing.
Though strangely they weren't tagging on results from 22-23 when bemoaning last seasons bad start!

I picked wolves because that’s where I felt things changed. We can all pick things to suit our agenda but I’m still trying to be reasonable!
I think Robins needs to go, not because I think he is the biggest problem but because the investments we’ve made no longer work with his methods.
No chance. Ultimately all fans care about is winning. If a new manager came in and did well, Robins would barely be mentioned.
never underestimate the short-term mentality of football fans.
I think we put all our eggs in the FA Cup basket which is why I don't think it's relevant.
This season has just been dire in its own right so far. It really doesn't need embellishing, especially with a set of results whose relevance can't really be established

Eventually, yes, but it would divide people initially.
Could you imagine if we sacked him and Doug took a cheaper option?
But it was the first sign of changing the Backroom?I think we put all our eggs in the FA Cup basket which is why I don't think it's relevant.

well that’s another question completely.
king isn’t a stupid man, he knows that if he pulls the trigger he’d better have a good replacement, otherwise everyone will lose interest fast and go after him.
I want Robins to stay, but I also see why King would be thinking about what to do, however the next guy would need to be the right man or King has got nowhere else to go for blame apart from the mirror.
I think our expectations have been raised with the success that followed Doug taking over. At least with SISU we knew they were arseholes so only expected failure and that was ok.well that’s another question completely.

The one thing that is relevant is we started then to ship goals every game. That’s a trend which started then and is carrying on
Becuase the major issues appear to be tactical, and lack of cohesion - they both sit with the manager.I am actually at a loss as to why so few seem to want to look at the new structure around Robins, as opposed to Robins himself.
I think it’s safe to assume that Viveash is a significant loss as well.
the structure is fine and is something Robins wanted
He’s been saying for years about what he has to do and what he wants and the supports he needs. It’s all thereIs this 100% correct?
He kind of did reference in his interview that it's simply a fact with modern football, he's kind of signed his own death warrant IMO!Is this 100% correct?

the structure is fine and is something Robins wanted and will benefit us long term
