Bad result for Derby and brings Sheffield Wednesday back in with a better chance of survival looking at their remaining fixtures they could pick up positive results and be neck and neck for the final fixture v Derby. Looking at Rotherham yesterday I don’t fancy their survival chances much at all.
We need to do the job v Barnsley
I like Sheffield Wednesday as a club and fans but they have very little chance of staying up and I hope their manager is OK.

We have had a good couple of days. Blackburn beat Derby with the help of an assist from Adam Armstrong. And Reading draw with Cardiff to nulify the challenge for 6th place, therefore possibly providing us with a less fighting Barnsley side facing us on Sunday!

On the flip side they both have to play teams around us and are probably less likely to give a shit

You took piss out of hunch. One that led to a clean sheet

I never took the piss, I was amazed he said it and it gave me no confidence, of course he may have just been saying that for the press.

I can give you 10 other examples of things I've criticised him for this season but I still back him. I still guarantee with Armstrong in the team we'dbe much better off than Blackburn currently are

If you're not objective you end up slavering after manager who left the club 5 years ago!

I liked Armstrong, but he only ever really does well when the team does well ..
He went totally off the boil at city after Christmas and scored 20 still ...and he's gone off the boil at Blackburn since new year , scoring 6 in 16. As opposed to 15 pre new year

One might argue he'd not be able to influence a struggling outfit that much

Seems like the pressure is getting to Rooney:

"Even the fourth official knew it was a penalty. But once again, he's not prepared to open his mouth and tell the referee. He didn't tell me that it was a penalty, I'm just a good judge of knowing people are thinking and I knew the fourth official truly believed it was a penalty."

Only one person getting banned after comments like that!

I haven't seen the incident yet, apparently it should have been given, but considering pre-match he was pleading for calm from everyone it's kind of amusing.

Ok so he's looking for it & has arguably lost control of the ball anyway but yeah, looks a pen to me.

I don't think he went down on immediate contact, you can see he had to think about it before he fell over.

First of all as a regular contributor to Millers Mad I would like to congratulate you on your outstanding performance and fully deserved win.

Last night it was delight for you and despair for us but who was it that said “football is a funny old game”.

Tonight Blackburn were badly out of form & when Derby scored early I feared the worst. However, Blackburn came back & won the game.

That leaves us 4 points behind Derby with 3 games in hand and I hope that for once we take advantage of the situation on Sunday and put some real pressure on Derby.

It’s been a weird season for everyone and I only hope that we can muster the points to stay up.

Birmingham will be very tough. They seem to be very solid since the Manager change and they will fancy their chances.
Draws are no good. I would rather win 1 and lose 1 so we have to go for it to set us up for Wednesday night at home v Middlesbrough.

Whatever, the outcome good luck next season when you, at last return to your own City.
The key is to survive the first season, something that we have, and still are, trying to achieve, so. I hope we get the chance to visit the Ricoh in a Championship game next season.

Good luck for the future and once again congratulations on your thoroughly deserved win last night.

Nice one. I think fixture congestion might catch up with you but Derbys position is dire so who knows.

I would much prefer you to stay up than Derby, but if you do go down can we have your keeper and star striker please 😉.
