am coming over from Dublin for game against Gillingham are trains still not stopping at ricoh on match days or has this been resolved?
The government has scrapped the planned electrification of railway lines in Wales, the Midlands and the North.
Don't count on more trains at the Ricoh anytime soon.
Not to mention Cross Rail (East-West) almost completed I think, and then the proposedWhilst simultaneously committing to spend billions increasing London's commuter belt with HS2.

Cross Rail 2 (North-South) if you took London out of the equation, we would be a third
World Country.
If only there was a pub right next to the station. More cracking work from the council there.it's a few minutes walk from the station to the main boozing area
Night games, it leaves the Ricoh at 9.30. got it back to Coventry a couple of times, missed the last 5 minutes . Never missed us win or even score
The joy of privatisation, the tax payer provides a subsidy so the private operators can take a profit.I can't see how that line makes any money at all.
The Rocket was a shitehole, i shed no tears for it....not council's fault it's gone?If only there was a pub right next to the station. More cracking work from the council there.
You sureThe actual residents of London do not contribute much if any more per head than anywhere else in the country.

Wasn't it pulled down as part of the redevelopment for the new council house?not council's fault it's gone?

it was but I think it was a bit of a lame duck anyway which had been though a succession of owners.
Wasn't needed as much without HR I guess.
The Rocket? It had been closed for years due to being an insolvent dive!Wasn't it pulled down as part of the redevelopment for the new council house?
Planning permission for the redevelopment was granted in 2010, the Rocket closed in 2014.The Rocket? It had been closed for years due to being an insolvent dive!
Bit would the redevelopment have required the Rocket to close or scare off its customers?Planning permission for the redevelopment was granted in 2010, the Rocket closed in 2014.
Last season I definitely saw train stopping and people getting off at around 14:50. Can't help on return trainsJust checking train times does the 14:49 stop at the station on match days?
And is it still an hour after the game for the first train?
Does the 16:42 stop? Or do you have to wait for the 18:42?
The franchise for that line was supposed to be sorted by the end of June. It's been delayed. I can't see how that line makes any money at all. There's rarely many on it.
It's one of the things we've been looking into along with dedicated buses etc. Our matches are not a major event anymore so the green travel plan and parking restrictions technically don't apply.
No it is going to be the entrance to the station they have built a subway under the road from the stain carpark in central 6 to the station.Wasn't it pulled down as part of the redevelopment for the new council house?

I went in there once at mid day on a week day, was empty but had a few games of pool. Wasn't too bad.
It was years ago, when I was cool (ish)I'm worried about you.
Constantly drinking during the day.
