Transfer news today (1 Viewer)

It is only judged as exciting or positive if they name people.

If it is just "2 more to come in", then it hardly needs a live feed through the day does it?

Perhaps a Benfica scout was there and has signed Haynes for £10 million.

We promised you it last night and Andy is just putting the finishing touches to his story about a new player in the building.

To be clear, we aren’t expecting signings today but this should be seen a positive news ahead of Saturday.

I take that as good, not signing today but in time for Saturday. Must be waiting for Thursday

He told the Telegraph: “Hopefully in the next couple of days we might sign two centre-halves.

“I have got meetings with players and their advisors on Wednesday. We’re working hard and, to be honest, there are a few just on the tip of it.”

Jesus Christ.

Was right earlier when I said anti climax.

When you read into it, other than the 1 in the stand it is just the usual "working on it, we are close" stuff.

"hopefully in the next couple of days".

I am going for a massive wild card
Chris Samba
Although he would be an automatic starter without training first to be fair

A bit injury prone maybe?

"Samba was suffering from a herniated disc in his neck and he required surgery to correct it. After the surgery, his recovery took most of the 2015-16 season. He returned to action for a game on 24 April 2016. His Dynamo contract expired at the end of the 2015-16 season and was not extended"

Haynes played well against a league two side who changed every player from their first team.

He's found his level - good for him.

Give it a rest.

So if the player that many had as MOM what about the rest of the team that had a shit 1st half against division 4 reserve players?

They are one of the strongest sides in their division. We are not one of the strongest sides in our division yet. Quite an even game. And Haynes did well.

End of the day Haynes did better than a lot our other players, who were also playing against Portsmouth.
If the kid plays consistently like that he can't be dropped.
Unfortunately he is a kid so consistently may not happen.
He has all the attributes in my book but so did Phillips and so did Hussey for a wing back role.
Haynes will still make it if he is forced elsewhere, just like Hussey has
